My husband and I spent 4 days at the Parkhotel Hegers and really enjoyed our stay. The room was big enough for a short vacation, the only thing missing was a wastebasket. The bathroom was small but well renovated and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was personally served at the table by the boss (we are not fans of buffets!), where Mr. Hegers fulfilled all of our wishes. On Sunday there was a breakfast buffet, which was extensive and very tasty. We would particularly like to praise the house menu and the preparation of the dishes, which we all enjoyed very much. You can tell that Mr. Hegers cooks with passion and values ​​regional, fresh ingredients. We can recommend the hotel without reservations and would be happy to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Went there on vacation and were very surprised

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 small children aged 9 and 3. After a very nice summer day in the park, disappointment came! That was sometime in late August or early September! I forgot to leave the review but that's what I wanted to say! Unfortunately, I have to feel compelled and write out the truth! This was by far the worst gyro plate I have personally had. The . Nothing on the plate at least tasted “okay”. The taste of the meat was really strangely seasoned and far dry. The tzatziki was definitely bad! This tasted really sour and looked anything but tasty. The fries were hard, dark, yellow gold fried. In addition, the fries had many black spots...inedible! You can't serve something like that to your guests! I really tried to tell myself that it tasted good, but no, it didn't work! Almost the entire plate was left standing! My wife had a gyro salad that didn't taste good either. Again, fart-dry meat with a very strange aftertaste. Just like the first plate! Unfortunately plate number 2 was also left behind! Order number 3 was a Viennese style schnitzel with fries mayo. As with the gyro plate, the fries are simply inedible! As already described above! Dish 4 French fries mayo with nuggets. You really can't do much wrong there, but unfortunately it's the same thing. The nuggets are way too dark and have black corners! We waited until other customers at the counter who had ordered Togo were served and left the restaurant. We then took our plates and went to the counter to complain about this. But the two men had no understanding! We listened to everything but the answer was no, everything was fine, that's how it is, that's how it has to be, those are our spices..... The end of the song, I had to pay for everything! They only “accommodatingly” didn’t charge for the 4 drinks! A joke! Of course everyone has a bad day or a bad mood or something like that, but you can't sell something like that to a nice family like that and it has to be like that and so on! I have to work for my money too! Nowadays, as a family, you pay so much everywhere, no matter whether it's going out to eat or doing things or or or but receiving something like that as a benefit is absolutely no fun and also hurts to have spent money on nothing. It's absolutely disrespectful! Not appropriate! So unfortunately nothing positive to report! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures. I hadn't even thought about evaluating it there.
