Very tasty food, the best schnitzels in the area. Large portions, fast service, cash only possible. Payment by card would be nice and possibly new chairs, but still 5 stars overall

Great, friendly welcome and fast, attentive service. Prices are reasonable and not excessive. We'll definitely go there again, especially when the owner sings. In that case, you should reserve a table in advance.

Unfortunately not. The very long wait, after asking, was explained by a sudden technical problem. (We're in the countryside, people still talk to each other...) Other guests experienced the same "technical problem" on other days. The fried potatoes were partially charred, and the schnitzel was of snack-bar quality. You never get a second chance for a first impression; we were done with it. I didn't even mention the expired beer. Just my experience. Ask around, look there; they might just be slip-ups.

Unfortunately the poor home cooking that the four of us ate! It was beautifully prepared, unfortunately in an ice-cold cast iron pan, supposedly 3 types of meat, unseasoned, toe and more boiled than fried, fried potatoes were swimming in oil & the vegetables from the freezer were covered with a ready-made sauce! The service was rather listless and sluggish, there was nothing going on, but she wasn't present and called out from the counter that we could choose a seat (despite reservations) model sleeping pill unfortunately. The only thing that is very nice is the clocky character, the furnishings like in an old inn! It's a shame, but the ambience alone isn't enough!:-(((
