Wenn man nicht viel Hunger ist man da richtig,zu wenig für den Preis

Waren dort letztens essen, war leider an dem Tag super warm draußen wie drinnen. Die meisten hatten auch ihre Reservierung deshalb storniert. Da es denn eigentlich kein Schnitzelbuffet gab wegen den Absagen, wurde es für uns am Tisch trotzdem zubereitet. Aus der Karte hätte man allerdings auch was bekommen können. Service war super und das Essen kam auch gut an.

Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr gutes Essen und das zu fairen Preisen. Gern wieder.

Was soll ich schreiben, tolle ältere Gaststätte die schön und liebevoll renoviert wurde, alles TIP TOP sauber. Freundlich Bedienung, und, das wesentliche, tolles Essen, frisch zubereitet, vom Vorspeisensalat angefangen, bis hin zum Hauptgang. 6,8 von 5 Punkten👌👌👌

Wir waren heute dort Essen. Beim Vorbeifahren gesehen und angehalten. Es war sehr lecker und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Es ist absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Ich warmes jetzt zwei mal essen und das essen war eine Katastrophe das eine Mal war das Essen mega kalt und viel zu viel Salz dran und das zweite Mal waren harre im essen das war das jetzt mal das ich hier essen war

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe da und haben Grünkohl gegessen. 2 hatten als Ausweichessen Hähnchenschnitzel mit Saucen, Salat und Kroketten. Das war alles superlecker, der Service ebenfalls klasse. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Wir waren heute Abend dort von ex Vossmann Fahrer dort mit 11 Leuten der Grünkohl war top ein Lob an den Koch und seiner Frau die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich .Diese Gaststätte ist sehr zu empfehlen

Anlässlich meiner Pensionierung habe ich eine Feier mit über 30 Personen im Saal gefeiert. Dieser wurde durch das Personal würdevoll hergerichtet. Das Schnitzelbüffet war großartig. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Nachtisch war göttlich. Erstklassiger Service vor Ort. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Immer wieder gerne! Liebe Grüße an Steffi und ihr Dreamteam!

Wir machen Kurzurlaub in Zetel und haben durch Zufall das Restaurant entdeckt. Die Begrüßung war herzlich, das Essen herrlich und das Ambiente heimelig. Gerne immer wieder und für einen Aufenthalt in Zetel und Umgebung sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Und unsere Fellnase auch !

Ich war gestern Abend im Restaurant und bin noch immer begeistert! Schon beim Betreten wurde ich herzlich begrüßt und direkt zu meinem Tisch geführt. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich angenehm – modern, warm und trotzdem gemütlich. Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight. Jeder Gang war frisch, perfekt abgeschmeckt und wunderschön angerichtet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft und hochwertigen Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die Schnitzel – ein echter Genuss! Auch der Service war herausragend: aufmerksam, freundlich und dennoch angenehm unaufdringlich. Leere Gläser hat niemand übersehen, Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt und man fühlte sich einfach willkommen. Preis-Leistung ist absolut fair für die Qualität, die man bekommt. Ich komme definitiv wieder. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Wert auf gutes Essen, tollen Service und eine entspannte Atmosphäre legen!

es gab wohl einen Inhaberwechsel und das hat dazu geführt, dass es nun noch besser dort schmeckt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich und dann muss ich an dieser Stelle die Chicken-Nuggets einfach mal auf den höchsten Podest loben. So lecker habe ich es noch nie erlebt. Auskunft aus der Küche ist, die Chicken-Nuggets sind hausgemacht und ganz ehrlich, dass schmeckt man auch so sehr. Probiert die bitte einfach mal. Es gibt die Portionen auf Nachfrage in verschiedenen Größen. einfach mal die Daumen hoch alter Bericht: viele tolle Speisen und viel Platz für die unterschiedlichsten Veranstaltungen

Wir waren letzte Woche dort zum àla carte essen. Wir haben vorher einen Tisch reserviert für 18.00 Uhr. Vor Ort konnte man unsere Reservierung nicht finden. Der Laden war zum Glück nicht prall gefüllt, daher war dies erstmal kein Problem. Beim bestellen unserer Getränke wurde etwas vertauscht. Unsere bestellten Getränke gingen erstmal zum Nebentisch und danach haben Sie ihren Weg zu uns gefunden. Wir haben einmal ein Schnitzel und den Chefteller gegessen. Die Champignonrahmsauce war leider wie eine dicke matschige pampe. Das Schnitzeö wirkte schon mal wie gebraten und nur aufgewärmt. Hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen. Der Service war leider sehr überfordert bzw. wirkte nicht geschult/unerfahren. Der Chefteller war jedoch ganz in Ordnung. Ein bisschen viel Öl bei den Bratkartoffeln, aber soweit i.O. Fazit: Ihr habt noch viel Luft nach oben.

Wir waren mit unserer Theatergruppe zum Abendessen. Die meisten servierten Essen waren kalt oder nicht lange genug gebraten. Der Koch kam auch nicht, umsich zu entschuldigen. Die Mengen auf den Tellern waren nicht dem Preis entsprechend.So schlecht haben wir noch nicht gegessen. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin. Sie müssen über vieles nachdenken. In erster Linie geht es um den Koch .Er muss noch viel an sich arbeiten.

We were at the Vorburger Hof for a family celebration with 20 guests. The food and the subsequent coffee break were phenomenal. Delicious, home-style cooking. Excellent, attentive service. Individual requests were very well catered for. Highly recommended.

Miriam's review clearly shows that the review is fake. Small portions and unfriendly service! I can only laugh at that. It's a shame that Google allows such things. We visited again last week with four people and, as always, were very satisfied. We hope that people who have actually eaten there will review it.

Alberts Vorburger Hof: Hello everyone, first a few words about the review by Ms. Christoph. It's an absolute disgrace to publicly spread such lies on the internet. The language was the lowest of the low, and there were absolutely no complaints about the entire meal!! The entire staff was super friendly and helpful! As I said, we'll definitely be back. My visit was on Friday, September 12, 2025, Schnitzel Evening The finest, very tasty schnitzel, side dishes, a vegetable platter, and plenty of salad to choose from. The best part was the delicious various desserts. The entire kitchen team was racing to serve more. I spoke with about 10 guests, and all of them, without exception, gave them 5 stars. We had a wonderful evening in a very pleasant atmosphere, with nice people, and we look forward to our next visit.

There were eight of us. We received friendly and prompt service. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is busy. The prices are reasonable. The service is attentive. We are very satisfied.

I don't know which restaurant Miriam C. went to, but it certainly wasn't here!!! We were here yesterday with four people. Super friendly service, perfectly cooked and lovingly presented food at reasonable prices. We all give it a *****+ rating! We'll be visiting this hospitable restaurant again soon.

We were there with a larger group. Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food (buffet). It was our first time there and we were thrilled.

The food was a disaster, the staff were very unfriendly. The food was like water, or like it was eaten and thrown away again. The portions were very small, and the prices were very high. The prices were really steep. I'll be back once and never again. I went there hungry and left even hungrier, and the salad wasn't fresh, at least two or three days old. Not recommended.

Today was the first time we ate there since the Alberts family took over. What can I say...everything was better than before. Very good food, freshly prepared, no convenience food, very attentive and friendly service, and quick. All in all, finally a Vorburger Hof again where you can eat very well and enjoy a lovely, relaxed evening. Keep it up...we'll be back and will be happy to recommend you.

We celebrated our son's baptism there today, and everything was simply beautiful... From the champagne reception, the decorations on the tables, the food was especially delicious, and the service was super kind and attentive... Even the little ones were taken care of, with a blanket and lots of toys, crayon for drawing... The boss, Stefanie, took a lot of time for us beforehand and more than fulfilled our wishes... Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful day :)

The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We received a very warm welcome right away. The selection ranges from small snacks to salads, vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes. Special requests are also catered for. In summer, you can sit outside in the garden. Definitely worth a visit.

We were thrilled. We celebrated our confirmation there on May 11th. We discussed everything beforehand and everything went according to plan. Everything we wanted was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the service was great and the decor was chic. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We went there spontaneously for dinner on Thursday. I highly recommend "Schnitzel Alberts". It was delicious. The schnitzels were perfect; I've never had such a good schnitzel and the mushrooms were so delicious too. All in all, a huge portion; I couldn't even finish it all. Highly recommended!

Four of us ate here today. The food was very, very good, tasty, the schnitzel was freshly fried in the pan, and the portions were incredibly large, and the price was also very good. It's a shame that we're only here on vacation and the restaurant is over 200km away from our home, so we wouldn't eat here often. But if we go on vacation here again, we would love to come back.

Unfortunately not. The very long wait, after asking, was explained by a sudden technical problem. (We're in the countryside, people still talk to each other...) Other guests experienced the same "technical problem" on other days. The fried potatoes were partially charred, and the schnitzel was of snack-bar quality. You never get a second chance for a first impression; we were done with it. I didn't even mention the expired beer. Just my experience. Ask around, look there; they might just be slip-ups.

1.30 hour waiting time with reservation for food and then not as ordered. I actually wanted to have breakfast with friends again, no thanks never again!!!

We had made a reservation online for the schnitzel buffet and also received a confirmation (3 weeks in advance). According to the waitress, no reservation was found. But we were able to provide confirmation. There was a lot of running back and forth and we were left standing there stupidly. Then it was also announced that there would be no schnitzel buffet at all. On a Friday, mind you. We then went with several women to another restaurant where they found a place for us. This whole online reservation system sucks.

In the last 3 weeks we have tried to reach the store by phone about 20 times, unfortunately no one even answered the phone. This is in no way guest-oriented, so we won't continue trying in the future and will get our food somewhere else.

We went to the schnitzel buffet with several people and were absolutely thrilled. When making the reservation I said that one person was vegetarian. Vegan schnitzels were offered and the chef offered to fry an extra portion of fried potatoes for our vegan Patricia 'you couldn't get any better service'. I have to say that the buffet was a pure treat for the palate, whether it was schnitzel, the gratinated one was amazing, fried potatoes, vegetables, sauces... everything was super tasty and was constantly refilled by the chef so that everything was always available fresh in large quantities. Pure enthusiasm so we will definitely be back soon!

We went there for dinner on Sunday evening after the change of ownership and were warmly welcomed with the warning that we would have to wait a long time, but this was made up for by the food. The rump steak and the schnitzel were very tasty and can only be recommended. The service is quick and very attentive, the price/performance ratio is absolutely fine, the only drawback was the room temperature, otherwise I'd be happy to come back at any time!!

Definitely one of the worse breakfast buffets and with a lot of room for improvement. I can have a better breakfast at Ikea. No attention to detail and below average. My tip: visit a few of the competitors' breakfast buffets. Tablecloths had holes, the dishes had seen better days, the shop was understaffed and the buffet was grazed. Use the feedback from the guests and work on yourself! Otherwise it won't last long.

I went there twice for dinner. The first time I was brought the wrong food, which was okay. The second time I ate there, the schnitzel was fried way too dark. Whatever I said nobody cared about. After I wanted to continue eating there was still hair in the food and that was the first and last time I went to the store to eat something.

We had our regulars' table on Friday in the Vorburger Hof. There was a schnitzel buffet. The buffet was more than well filled. The schnitzels were the size of a plate, whether pork or chicken, everything was included. Plus fried potatoes, croquettes and delicious vegetables. And a large salad bar. It was simply delicious. The service was attentive and pampered us with drinks. But special praise goes to the boss. Extremely friendly and very committed. Saw us like best friends. She praised her team and played herself into the background. She is still fighting against certain “legacy problems”, but time is playing into her hands. And at some point there will be peace and quiet in the forest! Her husband is the chef and is not only an expert in his field, but also extremely friendly and competent. All in all, a successful evening in a lovely restaurant. We'll definitely be back. We recommend the Vorburger Hof for all future guests. It's worth it. We are proud to have such a restaurant in our beautiful village of Neuchâtel.

At the kale buffet there was cold food and when you pointed it out to the waitress you were insulted. Drinks took forever or didn't come at all. The service staff was very overwhelmed. Too bad

We have enjoyed coming to the Vorburger Hof for many years and are still very satisfied with the food because you can still get real hearty meals here, as they belong in the region. But you can't ignore the fact that a lot has changed. The price increases are one thing, but there are also long waiting times (even when it is empty), the rooms are often too cold, and side dishes are often missing, which are then brought when asked. Holiday times also need to be better communicated (website, Facebook, etc.). We remain loyal - but you should get back to the old level, then you can also cope with the price increases.

Today we went to "Schnitzelsatt", the schnitzels were super tender and juicy and the fried potatoes were anything but industrial goods! You can tell that cooking is still done with love. The staff was super friendly and regularly asked if anything else should be brought over. Great evening and highly recommended.

We've been to the Vorburger Hof many times and today we were there for schnitzel day - as always, everything was great! Food is of very good quality and prepared with love. Service is very attentive! We would - of course - be happy to come back!

We reserved a table at the Vorburger Hof for our wedding anniversary and asked for mussels in white wine broth - even though this dish wasn't on the menu. Our wish was fulfilled without any problem and the result was simply fantastic! The mussels were plentiful and the white wine stock was an absolute taste experience. The service was equally outstanding: the boss even contacted us by phone in advance to ensure that all the details of our special request were implemented exactly right. Such personal support and perfect service are a rarity today. An all-round successful evening – highly recommended!

Bedienung super freundlich und aufmerksam, die Bestellung ( á la Card) kam für alle zusammen, keine lange Wartezeit. Das Essen....super lecker! Absolut empfehlenswert....werden wieder dort hin gehen 😀

We had corn plaice to fill us up, it was excellent and tasty 😋 😋 the staff was super nice, you felt really comfortable there.

We have eaten here very often. The food is always excellent. Today we were here again for lunch after a short break. The taste is great as always, but the price...we were very surprised at how much the price was raised here! You shouldn't forget that you are in Neuchâtel, the prices you might have to pay in an upscale restaurant in a big city are not appropriate. We are always willing to pay good money for good quality, but you shouldn't overdo it!!

The three of us went to eat corn plaice: Price not justified: Fried potatoes not freshly fried in the pan. The plaice: ok. Finkenwerder type plaice?????? Conclusion: 3 out of 3 people who were looking forward to this meal: Just made it home to the toilet: diarrhea and vomiting. Never again!!!!

Waren vor ca. 4 Monaten hier .Wir sind immer sehr gerne gekommen weil es super lecker war. Ich bin nicht sicher, ob es einen Personal wecksel gab(Koch)? Fisch hatten wir bestellt. Kartoffeln waren süss, Fisch matschig und extrem versalzen. Wir hatte es auch beanstandet, Bedienung entschuldigt sich und wolle es dem Koch weitergeben. Kam nichts zurück-nichts!

Es war wirklich unglaublich schön. Super freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder. Alles ist perfekt und sehr gemütlich. Was uns aufgefallen ist, alles ist sehr sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Dankeschön

Einfach klasse. Wie bei Muttern. Ehrliches Rotbarschfilet mit frischen Salzkartoffeln, zerlassener Butter und Remoulade hausgemacht. Und das für 19 Euro! Ambiente: Eine herrliche Zeitreise in die 1970er. So etwas ist heute selten.

Früher war es hier richtig lecker. Heute wurden wir leider enttäuscht 😞 . Schnitzel waren TK-Ware, Kroketten mies, Bratkartoffeln kalt und die Zwiebelsuppe schmeckte nach Tütensuppe. Die Servicekraft war noch unerfahren (aber bemüht), wurde wohl leider nicht angelernt.
