I forgot to leave my review and I'm sorry for using the translator, but I want to be 100% sure that what I write is correct. I can highly recommend this pizzeria to everyone. I think it is the best in Germany in terms of QUALITY-price ratio. I emphasize the quality as they bake the pizza dough perfectly and put mozzarella in it and not some generic cheese like Place X which I won't mention here. Apart from the fact that the selection of some starters and desserts could be increased a little, I would recommend this pizzeria with flying colors, the best in all of Esslingen
The stop at Schneider's sports restaurant was the culmination of a marathon hike with over 40 participants. We had already booked the retreat six months earlier (planning 30 participants) and then coordinated it on site. The two of us had dinner in the restaurant after the heats and were thrilled. At short notice I announced that we would be stopping by with a dozen more hikers, which wasn't a problem. When we arrived, the tables were invitingly decorated and grouped. The menu offered something for everyone (including vegan) and the food was generally highly praised. Despite the large group, the service was extremely quick, professional and very friendly. The (individual) billing was also completed quickly, so that we had enough time to start our return journey by train. Many thanks to Ms. Westermann and the entire restaurant team. This evening in a cozy atmosphere will be remembered fondly by everyone for a long time.
The pizzas were nothing. A vegetarian pizza without tomato sauce. Just cheese with pieces of vegetables. The whole thing didn't taste like anything. Totally greasy. Zero points for such a bad meal
We were there for the second time now and had a great evening again!
All courses and the accompanying drinks are very well thought out and are a culinary delight.
You feel very comfortable there. Always my pleasure.
The food was super German and delicious, everything was homemade from the spaetzle to the mega croquette
Service was also great, very friendly and always available for a joke. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible
Ambience rustic German cozy
Doner kebab is pleasantly spicy. Bread was quite thin and crispy. Salad could be more varied but was crisp and fresh. Size slightly below average, price of 7 euros reasonable. The store appears extremely clean and well maintained. Service very nice. Unfortunately it is not heated, so you can only eat on site with a jacket and little comfort.
Conclusion: we were very satisfied and would like to come back :)
I have no idea how they came up with that rating. The bread was not good and had already fallen apart, the kebab was completely dry, and the sauce was also not good. One of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. With 4.9 stars, I was hoping for something different.
