No chance as a single or widow. Because of a pizza?

Yesterday we spontaneously hiked to Kandel and sat down in the restaurant for lunch. With our two dogs we were able to enjoy the fantastic view from the terrace. The self-service system in the restaurant is excellent, you save yourself the long waiting time and take what you want. Hot food is brought to the table. The service is very friendly and accommodating, the food is fresh, appetizingly prepared and very tasty. The portions are generous and the prices are completely reasonable. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but we were given cozy blankets and water for our four-legged friends. All in all, a great, family-run restaurant with an incomparable view. Very good food, but unfortunately long waiting times due to a lack of staff. I thought that only existed in northern Germany.

Wir hatten jeder eine Pizza (Salami und Chef); beide waren sehr gut. Guter Teig, genau richtig knusprig. Sehr solide. Dazu ein professioneller und sehr netter Service. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und auch die anderen Teller sahen sehr gut aus. Gerne wieder.

Snack bar or beer garden on the small lake in close proximity to the zoo and treetop path. Delicious and fair prices

Here you get a delicious bratwurst (my favorite), for which I'm happy to pay €3.60 (you can put ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc. on it yourself). I've never been disappointed here! The service is great and the staff is always friendly! I always get the food to go, but there is also the option of eating it on site (pavilion with seating).
