We (two people) were on the way back from a trip (All Saints Waterfalls) and didn't have a reservation. We entered the Badischer Hof and asked. We were lucky. We really liked the very courteous, competent service. No matter whether it was about Baden specialties or wine recommendations. We were very positively surprised when we greeted us from the kitchen. The food was very good. We had 1/2 dozen snails in advance. Main dish: 1. Ox cheeks with vegetables and steamed potatoes. 2. Beef tongue, vegetables with tagliatelle. Everything tasted excellent, the meat was on point. Wonderfully seasoned. The vegetables, the side dishes, everything was perfect. Kudos to the chef. As soon as we are near Oppenau again, we will definitely eat at the Badischer Hof again.

The rooms are very dirty, not cleaned, the mattresses are very dirty and full of sweat stains, I found a toenail and lots of crumbs on my bed and everything in the room was wet and damp. The vacuum cleaner (which I wanted to use to clean other people's dirt) was full of dirt and soil. I found traces of bed bug droppings on all the fabrics. It's soooo disgusting to sleep there and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And I also think it's a shame that I can't upload the pictures because otherwise the post will be blocked. You should think about the fact that the pictures are so nasty that even Google itself says it's too nasty. In my opinion, the health department should take a look.
