Die besten Restaurants mit Restaurant Essen in Kehl

We were in Kehl on the way to Strasbourg and wanted to try La Kasbah. We were the only guests and felt like we had surprised the owners. The restaurant is very simply furnished, the ambience is a matter of taste and is a bit old. The lady offered us a seat and immediately took our drink order. We ordered a bottle of still water for the two of us and got 0.33l supermarket water in a plastic bottle for €2. On the menu we ordered (see pictures) the starter platter for two people, my wife Kiremit Poulet (chicken with tomato sauce in a clay bowl) and I ordered Kiremit Köfte (meatballs with tomato sauce in a clay bowl). Unfortunately, when the starter came, we were disappointed. It bore no resemblance to the one on the map. We each received a bowl of hummus and a bowl of eggplant puree with bread. Both tasted a bit bland, but the fresh bread made up for it. The main courses tasted good. It was freshly prepared, but a little too little even for my wife. For the price I would have expected slightly larger portions, which is a shame. The restaurant La Kasbah is ok for a detour, but unfortunately for me the price-performance ratio doesn't match the quantity. I therefore only recommend it to a limited extent. It's a shame because the food tasted really good...

Very homely and cozy and friendly. And, the hot aperol is delicious.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. We were given the menu right at the beginning and weren't asked about what to drink. After 25 minutes of skillfully ignoring the service, we left the restaurant again. There wasn't much going on that day (Thursday August 16th). I think the restaurant or the staff has no interest in making money. It's a shame because we like to eat steaks/burgers.

A great restaurant, although old and a bit run down, the food is delicious and the portions are very filling. The prices are also completely reasonable. Restaurant is located right in the center of Kehl. We thank you for the lovely evening with you. If we come here again we will be happy to come back to you. Delivery was uncomplicated and quite quick. Food was very, very tasty. The meat tasted like meat and the salad was fresh. The marmara ayrans taste authentic and are also recommended.

place reserved for a Franco-German wedding with wine of honor (the vows were made with someone from Kehl town hall as well as an interpreter because not everyone speaks German fluently 😋) the balcony is great for a reception/buffet/lunch/brunch with a view of part of the city and the Rhine. the interior rooms are large for a reception, there is a bar area, with a beer tap as well as a kitchen area. the exterior is quiet, with the Jardin des 2 Rives nearby, and a stone's throw from the city center.
