I visited the Gasthaus zum Anker a long time ago and was overall very satisfied. The food was really good - the dishes are freshly prepared and taste homemade, with a down-to-earth yet creative touch. Particularly noteworthy was the fish, which was obviously fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff put a lot of effort into looking after us well without seeming intrusive. Special requests were also responded to flexibly, which made the stay very pleasant. The atmosphere in the Gasthaus zum Anker is cozy and invites you to linger. The traditional furnishings create a relaxed atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening with good food and good company. Overall, a recommended address if you are looking for good, regional cuisine and friendly service. I'd love to come back!

The grill house in Efringen has a new owner. The shop is clean and the service is very friendly. Above all, the owner loves children and families are welcome. The dishes were prepared quickly and were delicious. We'd love to come back.
