My schnitzel was large, not pounded too thin, so it was still juicy, tasty and seasoned, the fries were also great and the salad was great as usual. Recommendation once again! In particular, the relationship between price and performance (quantity + quality) was great.
Went there as a couple and were served relatively quickly even though the store was busy.
The service was friendly and quick.
We both had a currywurst and considering it was on the menu as finger food, it was a good portion.
Price performance is really very good here.
Particularly delicious food in an authentic atmosphere. Excellent in taste. Great guys. It's also worth coming here from outside. However, only a few seats. But comfortable.
Pretty good pizza, some variations even exceptionally good! The house salad is a stunner! And you can also have a dignified and good Italian meal there. I can only recommend it!
To be honest, I don't like being the spoilsport. In this case, however, and because it is almost the only option in St.Tönis to eat home-style, it has to be:
I have been a guest at the restaurant three times in the past 9 months. We sat inside twice (October and November) and once outside on Marktstrasse in March 25. Apart from the fact that the noise in the interior is more than annoying and intrusive (which the owners can't do anything about), the food is actually a disgrace. What is boastfully and full-bodiedly advertised on the menu comes to the plate as partially finished product. “Grilled Mushrooms” appetizer with jarred mushrooms; Croquettes or sauces that most likely come from the metro, etc. None of this would be a problem if the prices weren't exorbitantly exorbitant for this quality. This is disrespectful to the people of St. Töniser and no comparison to the former tenants. The service is nice, but often very, very "flaky" and annoyed, which can still be perceived as nonchalant in the "Füchschen" in Düsseldorf, but not in a restaurant in St.Tönis.
All in all: No recommendation.
I ate here with my mom this evening - the focaccia and caprese with burrata were delicious! Afterwards we had pasta with asparagus and prawns – simply outstanding. For dessert there was a lava cake – a dream! The service was super friendly, hard-working family people. I'll definitely be back!
There were two of us and we were able to choose our table. The menu was brought to us, and there really is something for every taste. German, Turkish, and Italian cuisine, including kofte, schnitzel, and roast beef, as well as vegetarian options, pizza, and salads. The side salad was a dream, with potato, coleslaw, carrot salad, and a green salad with a delicious dressing. The Turkish dish (something with an A...?) was a skewered minced meat on yogurt and eggplant cream with flatbread – very tasty. The vegetable pan was really good! At the end, we even got a delicious strawberry tart for free.
An all-around wonderful ending. We highly recommend it and would gladly come back.
