Service ist was anderes. Sonntag 16:30 tolles Wetter draußen ein Platz frei. Prima. Der Kellner kommt, sieht dass wir in der Karte schauen . Essen erst 17:30, mein Frau fragt höflich wie spät haben wir jetzt. Darauf wieder 17:30 gibt es erst essen. Haben dann erstmal nur nen Wasser bestellt. Das kam dann auch , und zwar einfach zwei Gläser und die Flasche. Sorry so funktioniert das nicht. Das is keine Pommesbude. Ein bitte Ihr Wasser und einschenken. Haben unser Wasser getrunken und sind gegangen. Während dessen kein Kontakt mehr zum Kellner . Kein ich könnte Ihnen etwas Brot mit Oliven anbieten oder Ähnliches. Naja spätestens, nachdem der Kellner auf der Terrasse raucht war es dann aus. Kein Wunder warum Nix los war. Da muss man sich nicht wundern wenn es nicht läuft

A very nice restaurant, right on the Rhine. You order inside and take everything outside. You pay a deposit so that it can be returned. Without a deposit, not everyone would probably bring their dishes back, unfortunately. The service in the restaurant is very nice. I didn't eat anything, so I can't rate it

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had reserved a few days in advance and arrived on time. Once we had a table, it took 15 minutes before we could order anything. We were then told that the meal would take a while because there was also a wedding party being served today and they had priority. We had reserved extra early so that we could go to the concert after dinner, which we also announced. When we asked for the food to be prepared 45 minutes after ordering, we unfortunately had to leave without being able to eat. I understand that it can be busy and hectic at times. But unfortunately having nothing to do an hour after the reservation begins is a bit much. Such delays can also be explained in advance when making reservations. Unfortunately there was no apology from the service or the restaurant. The entire service was very slow and inattentive, which was all a shame. The menu looked delicious and the view was nice too, but unfortunately there is more to a restaurant than that.

First of all, the review refers to the lunch kitchen. The lunch menu is clear, which I don't think is a bad thing at all if it's tasty, but unfortunately it was boring and almost outrageous for the price. In my opinion, 22€ for a pasta (6€ for a 0.4l soft drink) is not cheap and that's why I expect a bit of sophistication in what is actually a simple dish. That wasn't the case, the cheese was even forgotten, but was added without apology when asked, which didn't really add much flavor to the pasta. The only positive thing was that the pasta was al dente. Since we were there quite late, I seriously wondered whether the actual chef was on break, which would at least explain the bland taste, because the food doesn't fit with the ambience, the concept and everything else that surrounds the leica world. It's a shame actually.

Since a completely new crew has taken over the shop, everything still needs to get settled, but I think it will...
