Edit from 2025: After my last edit, my review was blocked due to a complaint alleging "defamation". Now another reason for me not to eat there anymore! Edit from 2022: Unfortunately, in my opinion, the quality has decreased significantly over the years, while the prices have risen and discount campaigns have disappeared. I don't like the sauces anymore and I found the meat hardly edible on my last visit because it was already hard/dry. Bread and salads are good - but they don't turn things around for me. I don't go here anymore, it's a shame. Original 5* rating from 2018: The absolute best kebab in all of Giessen! I've probably ordered the same kebab there over 20 times and it always tastes fantastic. The ingredients are fresh every day and the sauces taste great. The sheep's cheese here is also pretty big, which I'm personally quite a fan of! The opening hours are almost unbeatable, prices are fair and the offer from 10 p.m. and the stamp card for a free kebab are very accommodating. An all-round top kebab shop for students! I will eat there many more times :)

The owner is very generous. He has prepared and donated free meals to a woman in need on several occasions and also makes the space available for charitable purposes. The room is flooded with sunlight and filled with many green plants. The small garden next door is also a pleasant place to sit.

I was at the Schnitzelhaus Gießen and I was completely thrilled! The restaurant combines warm hospitality with really delicious cuisine. The schnitzel was perfect – huge, tender and wonderfully crispy on the outside. Whether classic Viennese style or with delicious sauce, there is something for every taste. The pizza also really impressed me: crispy base, fresh ingredients and a spicy tomato sauce – that's exactly how it should be! The pasta was also cooked to perfection and served with a creamy, homemade sauce that was just to die for. The portions are generous, the price-performance ratio is great and the service is super friendly and attentive. Here you can tell that cooking is done with love! I'll definitely be back - 5 out of 5 stars!

A very good address for both delivery and on-site service. The restaurant is very well maintained and the staff is always friendly. So far I've eaten pizza, burgers and casseroles here and I'm very happy with them. The large portions last me two days and it still tastes very good on the second day.
