We (2 adults, 2 children) spontaneously returned here on September 1st, 2024 after a visit to the Bürgerpark and were initially surprised by the harmonious outdoor terrace. At first we were quickly convinced to come here again, also because of the menu at reasonable prices. However, this illusion was taken away from us over the course of the evening by the service, which cannot be described at all. The restaurant was at most half full. We were already quite late, so we thought some of them had already finished eating. We ordered pizza and pasta, so nothing elaborate. After an hour we dared to ask when we could expect food, the children had school the next day. The employee contacted wanted to inquire, but didn't come back. So I asked the next person and he said it would be our turn soon. Unfortunately, equal is a flexible term. Meanwhile, tables occupied after us were already being served. We passed the time with drinks, which we also had to beg for. After 15 minutes we thought it was almost over, we asked again. Then we started setting up our table. First we adults got our food (pizza and pasta), then the waiter disappeared and came back a short time later, but to continue serving the neighboring table. Since we like to eat together, we waited, especially since we didn't want to eat anything in front of the children. The next course included the children's food. The noodles are slowly getting cold. I asked for the boss because I wanted to express my criticism personally. When asked about it politely and quietly, so as not to cause a stir, he started to loudly argue and justify things with me. We wouldn't wait an hour, there's still a group there, everything is made fresh, the time between the two deliveries would have been a maximum of 4 minutes.....yes, but it's still best to bring the food to the table together Children first and in 4 minutes the noodles will be lukewarm. He then found that the fact that he had asked him about the accumulated empties from 3 rounds was exaggerated. Sorry, I don't even know that from home, no empty trips, why not take the empty glasses with you when you bring full ones. It's not comfortable to eat at a full table. The food was completely ok. There's not much to complain about, except that it got cold. Actually a restaurant that we would have liked to visit again, but if you don't even tolerate constructive criticism, don't even apologize for it or maybe acknowledge mistakes, you won't get my money. Maybe we had a bad day, as the other reviews here are mostly positive. The situation could have been easily resolved with kindness on the part of the owner. But if you are too proud or too arrogant for that, then something like this happens. We were very annoyed about such an end to the day.

Yes, everything has already been said and described in the 5-star reviews, but the best and most important thing to keep you coming back is the general soul of this owner-operated Italian food company. Here food is made with passion, perfection and love and on top of that the owners Lilly and Costa are very nice people!! That alone increases any rating worse than 5 stars to at least 5 stars!! Humanity is very important here and that is certainly unique and devoid of any negative criticism of Bella Vista and the team. So just come back and recommend it
