Yesterday evening I placed an order via smileys.de. Among other things, a pizza with spinach and feta. This order has been confirmed and paid for. The pizza was delivered (approx. 1 hour delivery time but that was okay because of Carnival) with only feta and no spinach. On the invoice that accompanied the order, only the pizza with feta, without spinach, was stated. When I called the branch, the employee on the phone was very unfriendly, said “that would be my problem” and “the problem with the website” (note: I ordered via the official Smileys website, not via Lieferando or similar). Of course the pizza was charged the same as spinach. It can always happen that an ingredient is missing, but you should be informed about it during the ordering process or at the latest afterwards and have the opportunity to change the order if necessary (to be honest: a pizza only with feta? No, it didn't really taste good!). For example, at another pizzeria I received a special call because an ingredient was out and I was able to choose something else. And if it was actually due to incorrect transmission within the system, then I would strongly recommend a check. Likewise, if you read other reviews here, customer and service training for the employee. I will definitely no longer order here and will delete my customer account. It's a shame, because the “Ring of fire”, for example, was always very tasty. But now no longer under these conditions 🤷♂️
