What an experience!!! 😇 We have developed a very strong passion for sushi over the last few years and have now gotten to know a few places. We're not easy to convince, but Katsu did it - our visit was amazing 😍 The ambience is great and fits perfectly with the overall concept. The range of dishes on offer is very varied - if you don't find anything here, you're not hungry 🤣 I see the pricing philosophy from two perspectives: While the starters and desserts are really moderate and fit the quantities, the main courses and the sushi are very expensive. A visit to Katsu is not for the small wallet, but the quality is really great. The visual arrangement of the dishes is so successful in each one that the saying "You eat with your eyes" really fits here. Be it entrées, main courses, sushi platters or desserts - they were all real eye-catchers 🥰 If you are there for the first time and decide to have the Argentinian sirloin steak, you should know that it is served cut into smaller pieces and not whole. This advice should definitely be given by the staff - at the latest when the guest asks for the meat to be cooked medium (which is much easier to do in one piece). Alternatively, when printing new menu cards, you could simply add the description accordingly. We were more than satisfied with the service. The sheer volume of choices made it difficult for us to make a quick decision. At the beginning we probably asked three times to give ourselves some more time. This wish was easily fulfilled without any annoyance (yes, unfortunately we have already experienced that), as was every other wish. Regular but subtle inquiries as to whether anything else is needed. No waiting times that are too long. Sincere inquiry about satisfaction with an authentic smile on your lips - perfect and that's how it should be! Our boys, 13 and 15, were extremely excited. They chose the largest sushi platter and literally inhaled all 52 pieces (!!!) 🤣 Great praise here too - sushi has never been prepared so beautifully 🍣🍣🍣 All other orders also scored points and to top it all off, we treated ourselves to the dessert variation. These sesame balls were a poem and a fantastic change from the baked banana or a chocolate lava cake (or whatever else you find on the dessert menu). We'll definitely come back at some point and thank you for this wonderful culinary experience 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
