We went into the restaurant and the waiter (or the owner?) went behind the bar, we thought that we should take the menu ourselves, and so we took it carefully. The waiter asked in a raised voice, "What are you doing??" as if we didn't know what we had done. He made a displeased face and started muttering under his breath. We said that we had changed our minds about eating there and would rather go. He said, "Yes, you'd better leave," and then some more insults were heard in our direction. Terrible service, the smell of dust in the room, there were no guests inside at all. We still didn't understand what we had done that was so terrible to cause such a reaction.
