The ambience of the restaurant was quite nice, but unfortunately the dining experience couldn't keep up. The main course of the “Ambiente Africa” menu was particularly disappointing: beef, lamb and chicken were expected – in fact, almost exclusively chicken was served. Instead of high-quality beef, there was only minced meat. The dessert also left a lot to be desired: its taste was very reminiscent of a standard peach yogurt from the supermarket, supplemented by a few fruits - not very creative and unconvincing. The recommended fish platter only contained a very small selection of fish and offered little variety. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also relatively small and tasted more like simple fruit juices - unfortunately not a good offer at a price of over 8 euros outside of happy hour. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The service couldn't improve the overall impression. We waited an unusually long time for our food, and in the end both the coffee and the Amarula were forgotten. When the coffee finally arrived, it tasted like regular filter coffee - nothing like the African coffee advertised on the menu. Since we were only traveling in Africa last year, we can make this comparison with a clear conscience. It would be helpful to note in advance that you can only pay in cash. All in all, it's a shame!
