Disappointing visit - bad service and not child-friendly We avoided Pier 1 for a long time because the service was not convincing in the past. Unfortunately, we found that it has not gotten better, but rather worse. Our visit on January 16, 2025 at 1:40 p.m. was a real disappointment. The service was unfriendly and not very service-oriented. The staff reacted rudely to simple questions, as if it were an imposition to place an order. Particularly negative: There are no possible variations of pasta for our son - no flexibility for guests. We suspect that the waitress did not want to type something into her notebook. It became clear to us that the restaurant is not child-friendly when our son was given chewed plastic cutlery - absolutely unacceptable! A minimum level of attention and hospitality would be appropriate here. Perhaps the management should seriously consider working on the quality of service. In any case, Pier 1 is not worth recommending.
