Great Italian, very good food and wine, friendly service.

We were here on Friday, December 6th, at lunchtime. Service was great, the waitresses were friendly and on point, the food (bruschetta, pizza, pasta) was very tasty. Would love to come back.

Chairs are unfortunately a bit uncomfortable and the relationship between table and chair is unfortunately a bit inappropriate (table too low or chair too high) yes I know complaining at a high level Otherwise everything was great

I'm celebrating my 39th time in Italy this year and I had high expectations. The pizza looks good, but doesn't taste that good. Better than a delivery service, but nothing special. In addition, the ground is difficult to cut with knives. Better cutlery would be beneficial. The starters were okay. Unfortunately, there is an additional point deduction for the hefty price. Given the prices, I expect more overall...

The two of us entered the restaurant today and were asked (when the restaurant was empty): did you order? Without saying GOOD DAY. This service from the lady continued in this tone until payment was made. At these prices I expect to be properly served from start to finish.

The food was quite good, the staff was super friendly, so far everything is ok here. The seating in the restaurant is far too tight for us. It's incredibly loud and you can only have a conversation with the person directly next to you. And given the prices, you have to think carefully about whether this is still possible. Overall, this seems to be a very personal feeling, as the store is always full and we always have to wait a short time at the entrance, even with a reservation.

Go there and enjoy. Right on the lake, what more could you want.

We were there for breakfast today and thought there was something special on offer for the price, but unfortunately we were disappointed. A few rubbery Kaiser rolls and some sausage, cheese, jam, etc. Nothing earth-shattering. Too bad. Every 3 star hotel does this better. The younger waiter was also a bit unmotivated right from the opening. The two stars are entirely thanks to the younger waitress because she saved it somewhat with her charming, positive manner and charisma.

We were there yesterday on Saturday after our great sauna day (sauna by the lake in Markkleeberg). Then we had dinner at Sole Mio. We chose our table outside on the heated terrace. This time we both decided on the pizza. It was really tasty, including the salad before it. Service was very friendly and nice. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, despite the fact that it was very busy (full)!!! It was a very nice evening for us. And that's why 5***** stars.

A friend of mine had a caterpillar in his food. I would have liked a fried egg on my salad. Wasn't possible. From the age of 12 there are no more eggs. I used chicken instead. It wasn't good either. Nice view. The rest is pretty poor.

Pizza was rather standard, but in my opinion the price was too high for the quality of the pizza. Ambience at the lake was ok and of course very well attended. But there is better pizza. I can't judge the rest of the food on offer.

The location right on the lake is of course fantastic. The truffle pasta, on the other hand, was completely uninteresting in terms of taste. The small portion was really very small - no child or pensioner will be satisfied with it - the price was very high. The service was very friendly, but they couldn't really keep up with putting the plates away. The pasta from the children's menu was also too firm and the pesto unfortunately wasn't tasty at all. On request, there was a pencil box with broken leads for the children to keep busy and, if asked again, a sheet of paper. All in all a little loveless and too expensive.

We had unfriendly service and didn't feel welcome. She said there was no space outside, even though we looked at 2 free tables. We couldn't find any suitable food on the menu and it was also quite expensive. When we wanted to leave, she suddenly offered us a table outside and didn't understand why we were leaving. In the restaurant next door we were warmly welcomed and served nicely.

Leider war das Essen sehr schlecht. Wir sind gegen 20:20 Uhr eingekehrt und die Kellner waren sichtlich genervt, dass wir 40 Minuten vor Küchenschluss ankamen. Das Essen war lieblos und schlecht zubereitet (das Schnitzel beispielsweise nur mit Ei und Mehl aber ohne Brotkrumen). Leider ist das Restaurant trotz seiner tollen Lage und dem schönen Ambiente auch wegen der hohen Preise nicht zu empfehlen.

We were given a seat without a table reservation. The service was very friendly. All I can say about the food is that it was very expensive for what you get. But the ambience was very nice and I would recommend it again.

The very beautiful location right on the lake is probably well known. We were there as a group of 15 people and received great service, even though it was full. The food is very tasty and there is also a lot of choice when it comes to drinks. The only disadvantage (but not unusual) was that we had to leave the restaurant after 2 hours due to the time slot. This is not so easy to do as a group.

It's not just the view that makes you relax. The service is very nice and helpful and the food and drinks make you want to come back. We go there very often...in all seasons.

Am 28.08. sind wir auf die Idee gekommen uns an den Hafen zu setzen und eine Pizza und einen Wein im Restaurant als Take-away zu holen. Aus einer Pizza Magheritta für 13,90 wurde mit Rucolla und Parmesan eine Pizza für 20,00 €, der Papp-Becher Wein wurde für 8,50 € abgerechnet. Ein völlig desorientierte Bedienung, es dauerte ewig, die Pizza war zu Belohnung gruselig ...

Everything was great - especially the sunsets

It was our first time at Sole Mio and we were simply disappointed. The location is in a great location and simply offers a great view of the lake and the sunset. The service staff was friendly and tried to meet all of the guests' wishes. The disappointment was the main courses. The Spaghetti Tartufo for €26.90 was dry, there was only truffle grated over it and the plate wasn't attractively presented either. The veal of the Piccata alla Milanese was tough and difficult to cut. The accompanying tomato spaghetti had nothing special and tasted like it came from a can. The starters, however, tasted good. Our criticism of the food was simply accepted by the service staff.

The restaurant is one of the most beautiful places in Leipzig. The view of the water is magnificent and there is also delicious food. Unfortunately, many people know this, so spontaneously going there is usually unsuccessful.

Restaurant right on the lake. Very nice view. The employees are very friendly. The prices are high. One hopes for a perfect kitchen. Unfortunately the rosemary potatoes were too salty. The pasta was missing parmesan and the fish was missing lemon. I would have expected more. There is a direct parking lot, but it is very full. We were able to park for free because the barrier was open.

We had reserved a table for 12 people for August 23rd, 2024. When 10 of us were there yesterday, we had to wait over half an hour for our drinks. Table without a tablecloth, but okay, minimalist, with a few herb pots on it as decoration. When ordering the drinks, when we asked the ginger ale whether it was also available in large, the waitress gave a snippy answer, saying no, only in small, but you can drink a lot of it. The next time you ordered from a different waitress, you suddenly got the ginger ale in large size, which made you feel a bit ripped off as a guest. We had to wait over an hour for the food. Neighboring tables that came after us got their food before us. The food that came so late was very tasty, but the fact that we had to wait so long for it didn't please us and our guests and was very annoying. Unfortunately, the long wait was also the case for our sample meal and there were only two of us. The service should therefore urgently be faster. Even when welcoming guests, you stand at the entrance for minutes without anyone taking care of you. This blocks the exit unnecessarily. Staff see you standing there, but don't care, instead they talk. We chose this restaurant because of the great location because we celebrated our wedding here. As I said, the food was very tasty, but the service was a disaster, so we won't be coming back. However, if you have a lot of time, I can recommend the restaurant.

I like it! Some days there's just a little too much hustle and bustle.

We had breakfast here as we have often done and are very disappointed and it was the last time we were there. The male service was very unfriendly and you are hardly noticed as a guest at the entrance. The portions have shrunk and there were better times in terms of taste. There was no longer even a plate for us to spread the rolls on, but rather the plate with breakfast as in the photo. In total, the individual components of a complete breakfast have shrunk by 2/3 at a horrendous price compared to just a few months ago. Very unfortunate. Otherwise we were happy to come.

We spontaneously went there for something to eat a few weeks ago and were kindly given a seat by the window. We ordered 4 pizzas, one portion of which was supposed to be a senior portion because my 85 year old grandma just doesn't eat a whole, huge pizza. After much discussion we got a smaller portion. However, I unfortunately have to say that the food no longer tastes as good as it did 2 or 3 years ago. And asking for so much money for that is pretty steep. But otherwise the atmosphere there is very nice. Nevertheless, it will probably be the last time I've been there, the price-performance ratio is absolutely no longer right here.

Very good location, but the food, pasta with salmon, spinach and tomato sauce is not good at all, pizzas for this price are outrageous. You should stop by the Lindenau market and take part in a pizza training course.

Very nice, cozy restaurant with a great view of the lake and the harbor. Service and food very good. It's particularly busy in the evening and then you need time. But it's not a problem in this great environment.

Good cuisine, inexpensive is different

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. We had to wait a full 1.5 hours for our food, and it was only served after we asked several times. The bill was also not visible and only came after further inquiries. Due to the long waiting time, my parking ticket has expired and I now have to pay a fine. Overall a very disappointing experience - definitely won't be returning.

Delicious food in a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the service was not appropriate, especially at reception. No eye contact, appearing annoyed, unfriendly, inattentive. When we asked about seating options, we were "put off" because we supposedly had reservations at a certain time. An hour later, seats were still available. Too bad. Service not up to par, leaving the restaurant without a tip for the first time.

Very warm under the sun roof, no fan, service was stressful, food was quite expensive for inadequate quality. For example, I had pike perch on butter foam with potatoes. Potatoes were hard. Fish? I thought I would get a whole fish for this price (€24)! What did I get? Two small pieces of fish with countless bones and very dry, even the tiny blobs of butter foam didn't help! This restaurant is not recommended 😕

Prices depend on the location The pizzas are really tasty but the prices are completely exorbitant. The Diavolo pizza now costs just under €19. This is simply exaggerated. I've had better pizzas for less money

For our mother's birthday, my sister had reserved a table for 5 people for July 18, 2024 for a long time. When we were at the entrance to the restaurant, we were informed that we could not take our reserved table due to a presumably "more lucrative" booking from another guest. We were offered a table in Cossis, a few meters away. We also took this so as not to ruin our 80-year-old mother's birthday. As a result of the cancellation, the disappointed customers were given a voucher for another visit to Sole Mio, which may not be able to be redeemed after a seat has been reserved. Pure speculation, we can't know for sure. So they won't see us again. Everyone can judge for themselves whether this creates customer satisfaction. Yesterday we were there spontaneously with friends and were lucky to get a table after a bit of a wait at the lake. The waitresses were all very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very nice and bright. We felt completely comfortable. After we had the carpaccio and the watermelon feta salad as starters, it took a moment for the main courses to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The beef fillet was on point, the spaghetti carbonara according to the original recipe and the spaghetti with shrimp were also good. Unfortunately my order was mixed up, but mistakes happen. I complained immediately and was compensated 10 minutes later with the truffle pasta I ordered. All dishes were absolutely delicious, the portions were reasonable and we as guests were full and happy. Absolute heart recommendation!

We didn't make a reservation and still got a table after a short wait, thank you for that. The lady at the entrance was nice and seemed organized. Unfortunately, she was the only one in the restaurant. We got our starter before the drinks, that can happen, everything is fine. Unfortunately, the price of our 3 main courses, 2 of which were pizzas, did not correspond to the quality/quantity. (The third meal was delicious. :) )Accordingly, we were disappointed. In my opinion, the problem could have been avoided by asking whether everything was OK. Especially when it looks like it isn't. The staff came to meet us after I expressed my dissatisfaction without asking. The atmosphere is nice, everything is clean and everyone is friendly.

Every time it's a gourmet excursion with a wonderful ambience on the terrace

So far I have always praised Sole Mio very much and rated it very well. Unfortunately we were disappointed today. We hadn't made a reservation and were seated at a table where the table top wasn't in order. When we pointed this out, the table was put under someone else and said it was repaired. Water was brought in a bottle. There was also a glass. No lemon, no ice and you had to pour it alone. All without love and sometimes annoyed. It's a shame we always felt very comfortable. Maybe it will be better next time.
