Very good food from a modest menu with a fantastic view of the lake, which takes on wonderful colors at sunset. The service is also excellent. We only waited a little longer for our food and were immediately given espressos on the house.

The food tastes good, but in my opinion it is very overpriced, the price-performance ratio is not right in this case. I've also experienced it several times now that you simply don't get served. We wanted to order something more, but were never asked if we wanted anything else, even though it wasn't very busy. The employees passed our table several times without paying any attention to us, even though we obviously didn't have anything to drink. Unfortunately very disappointing.

It is and remains a great place. You look closely at the lake. The furnishings are tasteful and clean. The food - we had pizza and carpaccio - was good. The pizza had a good thin and crispy crust. Carpaccio was okay. Wine well tempered, delicious. At €8.90 per glass, it's quite expensive. Otherwise a pleasant stay, also because the tables are well spaced apart. Service good, reserved. I probably would have had another espresso if someone had asked me. Toilet very clean (should be a given, it often isn't in restaurants, so I'll mention it here).

Beautiful location on Lake Cospudner. Prices are rather high. Plate of spaghetti carbonara for 18€! Service is good and so is the food.

Disappointing visit – poor service and unfriendly to children We avoided Pier 1 for a long time because the service had not been convincing in the past. Unfortunately, we found that things didn't get better, but actually got worse. Our visit on January 16, 2025 at 1:40 p.m. was a real disappointment. The service was unfriendly and not very service-oriented. The staff reacted rudely to simple questions, as if it were an imposition to place an order. Particularly negative: There are no possible options for the pasta for our son - no flexibility for guests. We suspect that the waitress didn't want to type anything in her notebook. We realized that the restaurant was unfriendly for children when our son was given chewed plastic cutlery - absolutely unacceptable! A minimum of attention and hospitality would be appropriate here. Maybe management should seriously consider working on service quality. In any case, Pier 1 is not worth recommending.

Enttäuschender Besuch – schlechter Service und kinderunfreundlich Wir haben das Pier 1 lange gemieden, weil der Service bereits in der Vergangenheit nicht überzeugte. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass es nicht besser, sondern sogar schlimmer geworden ist. Unser Besuch am 16.01.2025 um 13:40 Uhr war eine echte Enttäuschung. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert. Auf einfache Nachfragen reagierte das Personal patzig, als wäre es eine Zumutung, eine Bestellung aufzugeben. Besonders negativ: Es gibt keine möglichen Varianten bei der Pasta für unseren Sohn – keine Flexibilität für Gäste. Wir vermuten, dass die Kellnerin nicht extra etwas eintippen wollte in ihrem Notebook. Dass das Restaurant kinderunfreundlich ist, wurde uns spätestens klar, als unserem Sohn abgekautes Plastikbesteck gereicht wurde – absolut inakzeptabel! Ein Mindestmaß an Aufmerksamkeit und Gastfreundschaft wäre hier angebracht. Vielleicht sollte sich die Geschäftsführung ernsthaft überlegen, an der Servicequalität zu arbeiten. So wird das Pier 1 jedenfalls keine Empfehlung wert.

Delicious food at sunset by the lake. What more could you want...

Nice restaurant right on the lake, the service is nice. However, the food does not meet the price expectations. Very long waiting times after ordering. The pizza with rubbery pizza dough. Ordered spaghetti with extra shrimp + 6-€, but 3 shrimp were brought, total price of the noodles 21-€. A little disappointing and simply not enough for the service provided.

Were there for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere at the lake. Service OK and friendly. Antipasti plate for €18 is pretty average. Vegetables are fried rather quickly and the eggplant has a hard shell; here the vegetables could have been steamed longer and seasoned better. Pasta OK. Espresso better than most restaurants. Of course you pay for the lake view.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. It is advisable to reserve a table in advance as it is usually relatively full. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is clean, toilets too. Food came relatively quickly. Menu with starter and dessert in 1½ hours. Very pleasant. I can recommend the lemonade. Partly suitable for vegetarians as there are only the usual veggie dishes.

A reduced size card for Christmas. Unfortunately, no pizza was offered and no vegetarian dishes except pasta with pesto or tomato sauce. The pesto wasn't appropriate for the price either. The taste is very close to that of a canteen. Unfortunately the female waiter was very unfriendly.

Wir waren zu viert, im eigentlich hübschen Lokal zum Abendessen. Das Lokal war relativ leer und blieb es auch den ganzen Abend. Das Essen war, ok, aber nicht mehr, einzelne Gerichte, wie Bruschetta waren handwerklich nicht gut, das Brot hier war nicht ansatzweise knusprig. Vitello Tonnato war ok, aber preislich leider völlig übertrieben. Alles in allem stimmt Preis Leistung nicht. Was aber gar nicht ging waren die Kellner, der Hinweis auf das nicht knusprige Brot wurde einfach ignoriert. Nach dem die Teller abgeräumt war kam niemand mehr, und fragte nach Dessert oder weiteren Getränken und das wie gesagt bei einem leeren Restaurant. Nach dem ich dann am Tresen bezahlen musste, da kein Kellner mehr kam, wurde auch hier mein Hinweis, dass sich niemand mehr blicken lies, ignoriert, keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches. Im Sommer ist das Restaurant bestimmt ein Selbstläufer, im Winter scheinbar nicht. Jedenfalls muss man weder für die Speisen noch für den Service dort hin fahren. Schade.

We were here on Friday, December 6th, at lunchtime. Service was great, the waitresses were friendly and on point, the food (bruschetta, pizza, pasta) was very tasty. Would love to come back.

I'm celebrating my 39th time in Italy this year and I had high expectations. The pizza looks good, but doesn't taste that good. Better than a delivery service, but nothing special. In addition, the ground is difficult to cut with knives. Better cutlery would be beneficial. The starters were okay. Unfortunately, there is an additional point deduction for the hefty price. Given the prices, I expect more overall...

The two of us entered the restaurant today and were asked (when the restaurant was empty): did you order? Without saying GOOD DAY. This service from the lady continued in this tone until payment was made. At these prices I expect to be properly served from start to finish.

The food was quite good, the staff was super friendly, so far everything is ok here. The seating in the restaurant is far too tight for us. It's incredibly loud and you can only have a conversation with the person directly next to you. And given the prices, you have to think carefully about whether this is still possible. Overall, this seems to be a very personal feeling, as the store is always full and we always have to wait a short time at the entrance, even with a reservation.

A very cozy restaurant, large portions, and very delicious food. There is an offer available for children (€9.90), and you are allowed to bring a dog.

The prices are way too expensive The food wasn't necessarily tasty and the service wasn't necessarily polite.

We were there for breakfast today and thought there was something special on offer for the price, but unfortunately we were disappointed. A few rubbery Kaiser rolls and some sausage, cheese, jam, etc. Nothing earth-shattering. Too bad. Every 3 star hotel does this better. The younger waiter was also a bit unmotivated right from the opening. The two stars are entirely thanks to the younger waitress because she saved it somewhat with her charming, positive manner and charisma.

We were there yesterday on Saturday after our great sauna day (sauna by the lake in Markkleeberg). Then we had dinner at Sole Mio. We chose our table outside on the heated terrace. This time we both decided on the pizza. It was really tasty, including the salad before it. Service was very friendly and nice. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, despite the fact that it was very busy (full)!!! It was a very nice evening for us. And that's why 5***** stars.

Also highly recommended as a small group and as a business lunch.

A friend of mine had a caterpillar in his food. I would have liked a fried egg on my salad. Wasn't possible. From the age of 12 there are no more eggs. I used chicken instead. It wasn't good either. Nice view. The rest is pretty poor.

Pizza was rather standard, but in my opinion the price was too high for the quality of the pizza. Ambience at the lake was ok and of course very well attended. But there is better pizza. I can't judge the rest of the food on offer.

The location right on the lake is of course fantastic. The truffle pasta, on the other hand, was completely uninteresting in terms of taste. The small portion was really very small - no child or pensioner will be satisfied with it - the price was very high. The service was very friendly, but they couldn't really keep up with putting the plates away. The pasta from the children's menu was also too firm and the pesto unfortunately wasn't tasty at all. On request, there was a pencil box with broken leads for the children to keep busy and, if asked again, a sheet of paper. All in all a little loveless and too expensive.

We had unfriendly service and didn't feel welcome. She said there was no space outside, even though we looked at 2 free tables. We couldn't find any suitable food on the menu and it was also quite expensive. When we wanted to leave, she suddenly offered us a table outside and didn't understand why we were leaving. In the restaurant next door we were warmly welcomed and served nicely.

Leider war das Essen sehr schlecht. Wir sind gegen 20:20 Uhr eingekehrt und die Kellner waren sichtlich genervt, dass wir 40 Minuten vor Küchenschluss ankamen. Das Essen war lieblos und schlecht zubereitet (das Schnitzel beispielsweise nur mit Ei und Mehl aber ohne Brotkrumen). Leider ist das Restaurant trotz seiner tollen Lage und dem schönen Ambiente auch wegen der hohen Preise nicht zu empfehlen.

The very beautiful location right on the lake is probably well known. We were there as a group of 15 people and received great service, even though it was full. The food is very tasty and there is also a lot of choice when it comes to drinks. The only disadvantage (but not unusual) was that we had to leave the restaurant after 2 hours due to the time slot. This is not so easy to do as a group.

We were given a seat without a table reservation. The service was very friendly. All I can say about the food is that it was very expensive for what you get. But the ambience was very nice and I would recommend it again.

Eigentlich hat das Sole Mio alles was es braucht. Einzig die Umsetzung ist gruselig. Am 28.08. sind wir auf die Idee gekommen uns an den Hafen zu setzen und eine Pizza und einen Wein im Restaurant als Take-away zu holen. Aus einer Pizza Magheritta für 13,90 wurde mit Rucolla und Parmesan eine Pizza für 20,00 €, der Papp-Becher Wein wurde für 8,50 € abgerechnet. Ein völlig desorientierte Bedienung, es dauerte ewig, die Pizza war zu Belohnung gruselig ...

Almost everything was great: food, service and location. However, a better option for shaded areas on the terrace on the side of the lake would be great, especially for large groups.

It was our first time at Sole Mio and we were simply disappointed. The location is in a great location and simply offers a great view of the lake and the sunset. The service staff was friendly and tried to meet all of the guests' wishes. The disappointment was the main courses. The Spaghetti Tartufo for €26.90 was dry, there was only truffle grated over it and the plate wasn't attractively presented either. The veal of the Piccata alla Milanese was tough and difficult to cut. The accompanying tomato spaghetti had nothing special and tasted like it came from a can. The starters, however, tasted good. Our criticism of the food was simply accepted by the service staff.

The restaurant is one of the most beautiful places in Leipzig. The view of the water is magnificent and there is also delicious food. Unfortunately, many people know this, so spontaneously going there is usually unsuccessful.

We had reserved a table for 12 people for August 23rd, 2024. When 10 of us were there yesterday, we had to wait over half an hour for our drinks. Table without a tablecloth, but okay, minimalist, with a few herb pots on it as decoration. When ordering the drinks, when we asked the ginger ale whether it was also available in large, the waitress gave a snippy answer, saying no, only in small, but you can drink a lot of it. The next time you ordered from a different waitress, you suddenly got the ginger ale in large size, which made you feel a bit ripped off as a guest. We had to wait over an hour for the food. Neighboring tables that came after us got their food before us. The food that came so late was very tasty, but the fact that we had to wait so long for it didn't please us and our guests and was very annoying. Unfortunately, the long wait was also the case for our sample meal and there were only two of us. The service should therefore urgently be faster. Even when welcoming guests, you stand at the entrance for minutes without anyone taking care of you. This blocks the exit unnecessarily. Staff see you standing there, but don't care, instead they talk. We chose this restaurant because of the great location because we celebrated our wedding here. As I said, the food was very tasty, but the service was a disaster, so we won't be coming back. However, if you have a lot of time, I can recommend the restaurant.

Restaurant right on the lake. Very nice view. The employees are very friendly. The prices are high. One hopes for a perfect kitchen. Unfortunately the rosemary potatoes were too salty. The pasta was missing parmesan and the fish was missing lemon. I would have expected more. There is a direct parking lot, but it is very full. We were able to park for free because the barrier was open.

We had breakfast here as we have often done and are very disappointed and it was the last time we were there. The male service was very unfriendly and you are hardly noticed as a guest at the entrance. The portions have shrunk and there were better times in terms of taste. There was no longer even a plate for us to spread the rolls on, but rather the plate with breakfast as in the photo. In total, the individual components of a complete breakfast have shrunk by 2/3 at a horrendous price compared to just a few months ago. Very unfortunate. Otherwise we were happy to come.

We spontaneously went there for something to eat a few weeks ago and were kindly given a seat by the window. We ordered 4 pizzas, one portion of which was supposed to be a senior portion because my 85 year old grandma just doesn't eat a whole, huge pizza. After much discussion we got a smaller portion. However, I unfortunately have to say that the food no longer tastes as good as it did 2 or 3 years ago. And asking for so much money for that is pretty steep. But otherwise the atmosphere there is very nice. Nevertheless, it will probably be the last time I've been there, the price-performance ratio is absolutely no longer right here.

Very good location, but the food, pasta with salmon, spinach and tomato sauce is not good at all, pizzas for this price are outrageous. You should stop by the Lindenau market and take part in a pizza training course.
