We ordered pizza here for the first time today. The pizza came fresh out of the oven when we picked it up and was therefore hot, which meant it also arrived home hot. Lavishly topped and the dough is very tasty, crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside. All around great pizzas at a fair price. We both got full and will order again!

Diese Trattoria mitten in Köln-Kalk ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir waren schon so oft dort und es war immer klasse und klasse lecker. Sowohl die Pasta-Gerichte als auch die Pinsas sind fantastisch. Viele Speisen sind sehr einfach gehalten, zum Beispiel die Spaghetti mit Tunfisch, aber der Geschmack ist umwerfend. Groß ist auch die Auswahl an Pinsas, die superkrossen, quadratischen Pizza-Backwerke mit ungewöhnlichen Belägen, etwa die "Toto" mit Salciccia, Erbsen, Kartoffeln und Stracciatella. Wir lassen uns immer noch Knobi drauf machen. Vorweg gibt es bei uns meist das grandiose Bruschetta, das wir uns teilen. So haben wir das zuvor noch nie gegessen. Und bei jedem Bissen schmeckt man die Qualität der Zutaten. Die Preise für das alles sind sehr moderat und mehr als fair. Wir sind froh, dieses kleine Lokal in der Nachbarschaft zu haben! Allerdings muss man wissen, dass es an der Kalker Post ist und man draußen oft mit der Rücksichtslosigkeit anderer Menschen konfrontiert ist. So kann es sein, dass ein Auto - verbotenerweise - gleich neben dem Tisch parkt, weil die Insassen zum Dönerschuppen wollen.

I was there for the first time and asked nicely if they were open. The old man I think was the owner. Was very unfriendly and pointed to the door that they had a break!!!! I have been a regular guest at Pizzeria Tomatoe's for over four years, and I can confidently say that this charming, hidden restaurant in Cologne's Südstadt is worth a visit. My friends have also become loyal regulars. When you turn into Mainzer Straße, it becomes quieter. A beautiful avenue of trees invites you to take a stroll, and there are a few restaurants on the left and right of the street, including Tomatoe's. The outdoor area is cozy, equipped with a pavilion and wooden floor, and is even heated in winter, so you can sit outside with a glass of wine and delicious food even on cooler days. When you enter the restaurant, you immediately notice the open kitchen: you can see the pizzas being freshly prepared and the pasta dishes being tossed in the pan - a sight that immediately whets your appetite. The team welcomes you with warm hospitality, and this familiar, warm atmosphere accompanies you throughout the evening. The menu is balanced and not overwhelming - a perfect selection of pasta and pizza dishes, complemented by seasonal specialties that can be found either on the menu or on a slate above the kitchen. For me, the pizza here is one of the best non-Neapolitan pizzas in Cologne and can be ordered in different sizes, from children's portions to large versions. The food and wine are excellent and I have never been disappointed in all these years. It's no wonder that Tomatoe's has become my favorite place in the southern part of the city - be it for a relaxed glass of wine, a date with my girlfriend (who loves the restaurant as much as I do) or even for birthday parties. Many thanks to the team for the great work! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Very tasty food and very nice ambience, a very, very nice alternative to the other restaurants on the lake 👍🏽 Had a calzone that tasted very good, the waiter was very polite and friendly. All in all we had a very nice evening there!

Price-performance ratio very good. Pizza always delicious. And if you are asked whether you have hot sauce on the Mageritha, I can recommend that everyone use it. I don't find it particularly spicy, but it is very tasty

At first I thought "oh - just a typical run-of-the-mill pizzeria". But: I was really surprised. There is even beer on tap and football is broadcast there. And the pizza I had was really, really good! I would definitely come back. Not a run-of-the-mill pizzeria! The staff are really friendly too. Can be recommended!
