Delicious food! Great service and cute decor, I immediately felt at home when I was there and the food was, as I said, delicious!!

A larger group of us visited Roma this weekend. Some of our group had been there several times, while others were there for the first time. First impression: The vaulted ceiling is always beautiful. Second impression: In my opinion, the fish display was not clean, and the seafood was not inviting to eat either. We were seated in a quiet corner. Three classic pasta dishes of various kinds and two au gratin dishes, a chicken salad, and a meat dish. Service: okay, the enthusiasm and commitment could be improved. Food: was very simply presented; the serving can be done either way, but at Roma, it's more rustic. Oh, and the special offer wasn't presented or even mentioned. Food: unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations. The au gratin was overcooked and there was too little of it overall. Trio pasta was so simply made that my daughter could have managed it. Not to mention the taste or seasoning. The seemingly unloving cooking, presentation, and serving was also evident in the other dishes. The salad, for example, was supposed to contain pineapple, but it didn't have any. The chicken seemed to have been reheated, and that's how it tasted. The question arises whether there weren't enough staff, a cook was missing, or they were simply cutting costs or simply couldn't do better.

Were there at the weekend during the Cologne Golf Week. For heaven's sake. Terrace looks like it is at the campsite. Nothing fits together... you don't sit well and everything looks worn and dingy... This also has nothing to do with Clubhouse, because you always have the feeling that if you don't order food with wine, you're tolerated but not really welcome. There are no coasters for the drinks, tables aren't clean, old bottles and glasses aren't picked up... Ice cubes (we only had 35° - why should that be)... I'm really the last person who likes to write reviews like that, because I'd rather give 5 stars. But if you play golf regularly and visit other courses, you quickly realize that unfortunately you can't get more than 2 out of 5 stars here. And the whole thing becomes even more incomprehensible when you start talking to the other guests and club members. Because the fact is, every second person finds it just as inappropriate and disrespectful to the guest. Because you are a customer, leave money and can at least expect a service... I hope the review is read and perhaps internalized to some extent. I'll definitely come back to play again in the next few weeks and if I notice that it's gotten better, I'll be happy to improve my rating. Until then. Best regards
