Family-run Italian restaurant in Kahl. In summer with a cozy beer garden. Very good, high quality cuisine. You can choose from a diverse menu and there are always special seasonal daily or weekly offers. Attentive and friendly service. Absolute recommendation.

The menu seems to be very different - it's probably not easy to maintain a consistently good standard at these times and in this corner. In any case, we only had a simple card, and the quality was also simple. Prices are rising, like everywhere else...

I'm so torn as to how I should rate it. Been there for the 3rd time. Since it was chaotic last time, I thought we were all in good things and wanted to give the pizzeria another chance. Another failure. What a shame. Completely overwhelmed boss? Employee? We don't know, didn't introduce ourselves. After 30 minutes, not even a drink or a question about what drink we wanted. All other guests who came after us that evening had already had their drinks or received them before us. Not a word of apology, we were even shouted at that he was alone and couldn't get away, he didn't have any staff. I then replied to him that it wasn't my problem, then he had to change something about the way he worked or hire staff and we were no longer served at all. Briefly we thought about leaving the restaurant because our friends came later, so we stayed and wanted to place our food order. After three waves and calls it worked. However, we were punished here again and our friends who came later naturally got their drinks first, they didn't complain. We ordered 2 x pasta and 2 x pizza. How could it be otherwise, our friends got the pasta dishes first after about 35 minutes. And we got our pizzas after 45 minutes of waiting. Unfortunately, we weren't the only guests who complained that evening. Long waiting times, wrong order of processing orders, no drinks at the tables. Too much emphasis is placed on the delivery service and orders over the Internet. It's a shame because the quality of the food is actually okay. Due to the very long waiting time, our pizza wasn't baked properly this time and the base was soggy and partly raw. The two pasta dishes were good and a good portion. The restaurant has potential, unfortunately it is not being exploited... The crowning glory was that we couldn't pay by card because we would have used the Schlemmerblock, only cash payment was possible???!!! We haven't had a nice evening in this restaurant twice and won't recommend it to others.

Delicious food in a homely atmosphere

As the first guest one day, I expect at least a stain-free tablecloth. But it wasn't at my table. I had lasagna, which was very hot, but a mess made from overcooked sheets of dough, not very tasty and “spiced up” with cooked ham. Half of the lasagne went back. The atmosphere is very tightly packed. Overall, far too expensive for the quality offered. Not again.

The pizza was delicious, the service was attentive and good. As always, we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back :)!

In the center of Bad Münstereifel with a beautiful view of the Erft, you can stop off at the local Italian restaurant “Massimo”. Coming from the parking spaces at the train station or from the swimming pool from another direction, you can reach the restaurant within a few minutes on foot. My husband and I managed to get a table outside on a Saturday evening without a reservation. At this time (7:15 p.m.) all the tables inside were already fully booked, which speaks for the location ;) We had to wait a bit for the drinks at the beginning (~10 minutes), but this was due to the high number of guests and was completely acceptable. Our dishes (penne verdure and a salami pizza) were not only attractively prepared, but also tasted fresh and hearty. The menu is not overly crowded, but this suggests that the focus is not on quantity, but on quality. The service staff regularly (but not intrusively) inquired about our well-being, which for us as guests is part of good manners in the catering sector. Certainly this will not be our last visit! :)
