A REAL INSURANCE! Yesterday (January 1st, 2025) I had dinner there with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately, I have to say that this was the saddest and worst restaurant visit of my life! In my review, I primarily refer to the food that my parents ordered (1x Wiener-style schnitzel and 1x mushroom cream schnitzel, both with fries). When the food came and they began to eat, my mother first noticed after the first bite that the meat had a strange, sour taste. My mother tried another small piece of the meat because she had previously tried the first piece with mayonnaise and she thought it might be wrong. However, the second piece of the schnitzel without mayonnaise tasted just as sour and my father, who had the mushroom and cream version, also noticed the sour taste in his schnitzel. For this reason we reported to the lady in service that something was wrong. The lady came straight to our table. My parents explained the problem with the meat in a friendly and calm manner and were initially looked at in shock and incomprehension. When they repeated their statements again in a friendly manner, the lady took the food with her. Shortly afterwards another lady (apparently the owner) appeared back at our table with both plates and asked what the problem was with the food. My parents patiently explained the problem again. The lady's answer stunned me! The summary of what she said in other words was that it couldn't be that the meat was sour, it was bought fresh for Christmas and New Year and they didn't sell bad meat. My parents were also the first guests to notice this. My parents then didn't want to discuss it any further and said again that it was as described before, but that it was okay and that she could please take the food back with her because you couldn't eat it that way (why would you say that? statement also say big?). The lady then walked away with the food without saying a word. After that, no one from the service staff or the owner was seen at our table again. There was no apology, nor were my parents offered a new dish or new meat. It even seemed as if people there were angry that they had sent the food back, which was ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE to me... Who would continue to eat SOUR MEAT? My husband and I had both ordered the "VEGAN" dish, so our meal was meat-free. The taste was okay, but some of it was cold and the fried vegetables were soggy. My husband and I then rushed to eat , because it was extremely unpleasant for us to have to "eat something" for my parents and it was also unpleasant for us to stay there longer after such behavior on the part of the restaurant. When my father wanted to pay (we had already resigned ourselves to the fact that the entire bill would have to be paid) and went to the counter, I noticed that the restaurant was discussing it again. My parents were then refunded €30 of the total amount of €99.20 (in my opinion the minimum), with the statement that they would like to see their guests again... As I said, an outrage to the guests in the sense of assuming a lie or not believing it (why should you let food go back for no reason?) and not taking it seriously. But the height of impertinence is that they neither apologize nor offer new food. I mean, when you go out to eat you're hungry... Really sad and in my opinion just incompetent and cheeky. You've definitely seen the last of us there!
