A big compliment to the super friendly staff. You are greeted with a warm smile and you feel welcome until the end. The food is very good and the portions are generous.

Very disappointing. Once one of our favorite restaurants, now a disaster. There wasn't much activity that evening, but we still waited a very (!) long time for our food. Despite a reservation, a place setting was missing and was not given later. Drinks were offered twice even though we had a 3 hour stay. You had to run after the waiters to place orders. For the starter we asked for new bread, which was also confirmed, but not was brought. Portions were very small with the price increase. Fries very soggy and really unsightly. One portion was completely missing. Garlic sauce, part of the order was missing. After reordering the sauce, I received a flaked, refrigerator-cold liquid that had nothing to do with sauce. In general, the service staff made a very disinterested impression, which was also reflected in the missing items on the bill. I was very embarrassed that I recommended this restaurant to my friends and will not go there again.

Very friendly and attentive service! The food, simply great. For example, more eyes look out of chicken soup than in. ;) The leg of lamb is a poem. You'll be happy to come back here.

Really a shame. The ouzo that was always coming didn't reach us. The boss was in a really bad mood. But taking out a bad mood on guests? The small salad was delicious, gyros were great. Too much for me, wanted to take the rest with me. I was also promised. When paying, we asked for the ouzo, which was supposed to have been on the house (according to the bill) and my gyros, and a small portion was obviously quickly packed away. It was super fresh, no question about it, but... we didn't want the ouzo anymore. A nice restaurant with good food, but the service... Were there again. Ouzo was delicious, the food was great again, unfortunately the service wasn't much better. But it was still a nice evening. We'll be back

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed recently. After the seat was assigned, we waited a long time for the ticket to be brought to us. Drinks took a long time, the waitresses preferred to look out the door. The steak was well-done and the Greek food didn't live up to what was promised. I won't go there anymore.

True the second time there with 6 people. Food taste: Salad came completely without dressing. The food was tasteless. Gyros if any. A handful. The dish arrived with only one lamb chop, even though the menu said 2. I asked the waiter about it and he promised that it would be served later. Great. After we wanted to pay he arrived with a small plate with a mini mini mini lamb chop. I gratefully waived it. Then the boss came and collected the entire price for the meal. Very pathetic. I can no longer recommend the restaurant.

Always happy for 35 years. Unfortunately, I have to correct my earlier review. At first we were pleased that only the owner changed. The staff is very friendly but unfortunately the food is no longer convincing. Sorry, but this is no longer my favorite Greek.

Beware of this restaurant - absolute disappointment! I was recently at this restaurant and I can only advise everyone not to visit it. From the first bite of the fries it was clear that they were half raw and therefore inedible. The terrible service topped it all off - the staff was unfriendly and completely uninterested in the guests' concerns. The portions were shockingly small, which is disproportionate to the high prices. You're clearly paying far too much for what's on offer here. A complete rip off! The obvious unequal treatment of customers was particularly annoying. Regular customers were clearly preferred and treated better than “normal” guests. It was almost impossible to receive proper service unless you belonged to this exclusive circle. In summary: an absolute disaster! I was completely dissatisfied and will never visit this restaurant again. I can only strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Cold and raw fries and a very small portion for the price quoted. Service was almost non-existent. Tablecloth was dirty and with holes. Absolutely no longer recommended.

Well-kept gastronomy, great ambience with white tablecloths, friendly and attentive service, great quality food and short waiting times, what more could you want.

I have been to Platon for lunch and as we were particularly pleased we repeated it the next day for dinner. Excellent quality raw materials, very nice cooking and original presentation. Very good service. Very kind staff and very good service in everything. Very clear. Highly recommended!

Heerlijk Grieks gegegeten bij Platon. De gastvrijheid is bijzonder. Wij stonden op de camperplaats bij schloss Pfaffenheim. De 2 km naar het restaurant was meer dan de moeite waard.

Please don't eat there despite the new tenant. Everything is like it was 50 years ago. Expensive and no longer up to date!!!! Eating worse than before.

Chip shop level. Rarely have we eaten so badly for so much money. A total disaster in terms of taste. Dear visitors, if you want to go back 45 years to extremely bad food, then you've come to the right place!!! Back to the past !!!

We were there for dinner and I would like to highlight various aspects. I think it's positive that we were able to bring our two small dogs with us and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. Unfortunately, the entire tray accidentally spilled over my husband's lap, which of course can always happen. The table was re-set, but my husband was completely wet and was only offered a Zewa cloth and no other help or apology, so he sat there freezing for the rest of the evening. There were also broken pieces on the floor that we picked up ourselves and no vacuuming was done. Our dogs and the children from the neighboring table could have been seriously injured here. It's a shame that the incident has been left in the room like this. The food was okay, unfortunately there isn't that much choice for vegetarians, although Greek cuisine also offers that. Some people at the table didn't like it, but for me it was okay. Only the prices are quite high.

Went there for the first time yesterday and felt right at home. Nicely decorated, delicious food and it was delivered super quickly. The service was very friendly, the boss was also very welcoming. And we were allowed to bring our dog, who was welcomed just as warmly and lovingly. All around a lovely experience. We will be back definitely! :-)

Moderate taste at high prices. Fries for Suvlaki extremely dry. Farmer's salad for 16 euros with 3 small slices of sheep's cheese is more than overpriced. Tzatziki very mediocre. Compared to the previous owner Stefano, all in all a significant deterioration!

Solid Greek restaurant right next to St. Remigius Church.

The three of us ate there on New Year's Eve 2023. The female waiter was very nice and quick - there was an ouzo as a starter. Only 2 of us drank it. My order included an eggplant salad with tomatoes and lots of garlic as a starter. What came were fried and breaded slices of eggplant and zucchini with tzatziki on a lettuce leaf in the middle. The difference between eggplant puree and fried vegetable slices was clear! I was pretty disappointed then. My main course was actually sliced ​​potatoes, but then there were fries on my plate. Our friend then had the sliced ​​potatoes in a separate bowl. Overall, the food, including the side salad, was edible, but without any special seasoning and boring. The service person who took our order did so without a note or anything. Since we had been there before, we were very disillusioned and will think about going for a Greek meal there again. I can also choose other restaurants with Balkan/Mediterranean cuisine where we always got good food despite the restaurant being full.

Ein guter Grieche. Das Essen ist gut, Personal Freundlich. Ambiente für meine Begriffe etwas altmodisch, müsste mal überarbeitet werden. Da das Essen gut, kann ich das Platon weiterempfehlen

Selten so netten Service gehabt. Das Essen war einfach himmlisch und das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend.

Wir waren Mittags dort .Das Essen war sehr lecker ,wir bekamen zu Anfang einen obligatorischen Ouzo ,den wir aber ablehnten ,da wir keinen Alkohol trinken .Dann kam ein sehr leckerer frischer Salat und der Grillteller war sehr schmackhaft . Die Überraschung kam mit der Rechnung ,obwohl wir den Ouzo weder bestellt noch getrunken hatten ,stand er auf der Rechnung.Da wir keinen Stress machen wollten ,haben wir die Rechnug bezahlt .Wir werden in Zukunft die Rechnung vor Bezahlung besser prüfen.

Βρέθηκα στο εστιατόριο Platon για δείπνο και έμεινα πραγματικά πάρα πολύ ικανοποιημένη. Παραδοσιακή διακόσμηση με ωραίο ξύλο που το χρώμα του σε κάνει να νιώθεις ζεστασιά και ομορφα, φρέσκα λουλούδια στα βάζα. Το προσωπικό που βρήκα ήταν από Ελλάδα. Αυτό με βοήθησε στα σίγουρα να παραγγείλω καθώς ο κατάλογος ήταν στα Γερμανικά κάτι που συνηθίζεται στα εστιατόρια στην Γερμανία. Είχα επιθυμήσει φαγητό από τον τόπο μου και σε μια συζήτηση που είχα στο κέντρο της πόλης με έστειλαν εδώ. Πολύ καλά έκανα και τους άκουσα! Να δοκιμάσετε οπωσδήποτε την μελιτζανοσαλατα τους και την χτυπητή τους. Όλες τις σαλάτες τους τις φτιάχνουν εδω. Αυτές που δοκίμασα ήταν εξαιρετικές. Πήρα ακόμα, ενα φανταστικό αρνίσιο φιλέτο ψημένο ακριβώς όπως το ζήτησα. Η weiss bier επίσης που ήπια είναι η καλύτερη που έχω πιει ποτέ. Αν ξαναβρεθώ στο Bergheim σίγουρα θα φάω παλι εδώ και ελπίζω να ξαναβρώ εδώ τους ευγενεστατους και χαμογελαστους Μαρίνα και Παύλο.

Sehr freundliches und nettes Personal. Beilagensalat könnte etwas größer sein, sieht auf dem Teller schon etwas kleiner aus. Portionsgröße konnte ohne Probleme auf klein (siehe Bild) geändert werden. Metaxasoße könnte etwas weniger sahnig sein und kräftiger Paprika und Champions in der Soße sind ein Pluspunkt. Wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Heute hatte ich Lammkoteletts aus der Krone mit Scheibenkartoffeln. Das Essen war sehr sehr delicious. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung und lecker Uso! Gerne wieder!

Sehr freundlich, sehr leckeres Essen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Sehr Kinderfreundlich! Wir hatten einen 2jährigen dabei. Er bekam Stifte und Papier, bekam zum Schluss ein Matchbox-Auto. Sehr bedacht, dass es den "Kleinen" auch gut geht. Sauber und ordentlich. Parkplatz direkt gegenüber an der Kirche. Immer wieder gerne!

Topp! Wir waren schon mehrfach mit der Familie dort und sind jedesmal zufrieden gewesen. Von der Tischreservierung bis hin zum Ouzo nach dem Essen, alles prima. Sehr freundlicher Service, authentisches Essen - Empfehlung. Wir kommen demnächst gerne wieder vorbei.

Wir waren heute im Restaurant Platon. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Inhaber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich . Wir hatten Gyros in Metaxasosse überbacken und sind pappsatt. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt .Wir kommen wieder. Ganz bestimmt!

Positiv: Parkplätze vorhanden, sauber, Bedienung ok. Negativ: 08/15 Salat mit einer Olive, Dressing Milch mit Wasser? Gyros überbacken mit Metaxa Soße schmeckte extrem nach Vegeta!! Lachsfilet in der Fritteuse zubereitet? Kein Tsatziki,kein Feta, nichts was einen Griechen ausmacht. Pommesbuden Niveau.

Ein Bergheimer Urgestein in neuem Besitz. Essen, Service und Ambiente sind nach wie vor erstklassig. Immer wieder gerne! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgäste im Platon und waren eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Jetzt hat der Besitzer gewechselt, und zu unserer Freude ist alles noch besser geworden. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltiger, die Rezepte raffinierter. Die Qualität der Speisen ist immer hervorragend. Große Auswahl, auch an Vorspeisen. Die Bedienung ist von ausgesuchter Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit. Man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub in Griechenland und muss weit fahren, um eine vergleichbare Qualität zu bekommen.
