The service was very good and courteous. We were asked several times if everything was okay. The food was delicious. We had a great time, and the restaurant was packed. Highly recommended. Three of us were there yesterday.

The grilled dish wasn't tasty, the fries were inedible and needed another 2 minutes in the fryer.

This Greek restaurant is amazing, let me tell you why. When you walk in, you are greeted with a bright friendly smile from the owner. The food is cooked to perfection, every time. The tzatziki is creamy, the food is authentic, the souvlaki choriatiko (pork) was tender and well seasoned, fries were nicely salted. The portion of salad was delicious and enough. Visually, the dishes are served with pride and care. Most times, I am not satisfied when I dine out, either the food was ok but the service was terrible or vice versa. Ela Mesa has been consistent with excellent customer service, the authenticity of the dish and the flavour of the food satisfies the soul. The ambiance is lovely and cozy. When I leave Germany to go back to Canada, I wish I could find a restaurant as delicious but nothing comes close. Hands down, the BEST restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at in my 52 years.

I've never eaten so salty. Had the salt kettle tipped over? The tip was definitely not for the cook! Really a threat to health.
