The Greek restaurant was visited after work a few months ago on the recommendation of a guest and is now a regular part of our stay in the region. Very tasty food, friendly and courteous staff. The ambience is a little old and could be improved here and there, but it wasn't a major problem. Especially in summer, the seats outside the restaurant are wonderful and a visit is highly recommended!

The furnishings are tasteful and authentic, giving the room a warm, hospitable atmosphere. The staff is warm and hospitable, typically Greek, and clearly tries to make guests feel at home. The menu offers a good selection of classic Greek dishes, from traditional meze to sumptuous main courses and fresh seafood. Highlights include the “Souvlaki plate” – tender, well-seasoned meat that is grilled to perfection and accompanied with fries, and the “Moussaka” with juicy minced meat and a fluffy béchamel sauce. Particularly recommended is the grilled octopus, whose consistency is perfect: crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, something you rarely find. The homemade dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves) are also a delight and are reminiscent of the loving cuisine of Greek grandmothers. The wine list is well-stocked and offers a variety of Greek wines, from fruity whites to strong reds, which complement the taste of the food beautifully. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The waiters are knowledgeable, offer advice to guests upon request and also provide interesting insights into Greek culture and cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the staff, which makes every visit a personal experience. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. A dinner for two people is in the middle price segment and offers a wealth of authentic flavor nuances. Irodion is more than just a restaurant – it is a little piece of Greece that conveys the essence of Greek hospitality and cuisine.
