A beautiful location and friendly hosts. But the food was a huge disappointment. It wasn't clear to me that a very technoid and cerebral "kitchen" was produced here, but whose conceptual ideas rarely result in enjoyment. In addition to the, in my opinion, often too brutal conception of the dishes, there are also disturbing craftsmanship errors that should not occur in a house in this price range: too much acid, for example, which made 2 of the 8 courses almost inedible. And I don't mean that I didn't like it, but that I involuntarily had to turn my nose away from the pungent smell of vinegar. The comment on my comment about this: that's what I wanted... The whole evening was like that: shockingly little enjoyment and not even any interesting new ideas. In my opinion, the Tafel has no future with this backwards orientation: I for one no longer want to be educated and taught by a kitchen, but rather want to be embraced by it. Cheers!
