Overall, we had a very nice evening in the restaurant. The ambience is elegant and minimalist, and the service was super attentive and friendly. The dishes were not only a visual delight, but also perfectly balanced in terms of taste. It was obvious that a lot of attention was paid to detail and quality! Unfortunately, there were some organizational misunderstandings that marred the evening somewhat. There were six of us and we had ordered the vegetarian 5-course menu in advance for everyone, although we had also stated in advance that one lady in our group was lactose intolerant. However, when we arrived we discovered that the meat menu was on the table. When we asked, we were told that the vegetarian menu could not be printed out due to a technical problem. A little strange, but still understandable. After the first greeting from the kitchen, we were informed that a course had changed and that we would get another one instead. This is not a problem in principle, but as the evening progressed it became clear that for the lactose intolerant lady, some of the following courses contained lactose and no alternatives were offered. We later found out that there had been an organizational error in the kitchen, which was why they had incorrectly chosen six meat menus. A misunderstanding that can of course happen - I understand that. But with a three-figure amount just for the food, I expect more professionalism in dealing with such mistakes in this price range. Instead of communicating the situation openly, people tried to simply dismiss the change in gear for no reason. It is also disappointing that no alternative offers were made after the lactose intolerance was reported in good time. Of course, the lady in question still ate what she could, but something like that shouldn't happen at a restaurant in this price range, especially if the intolerance was known in advance. All in all, it was a nice evening with great food and ambience, but the organizational error and the way it was handled left a bad aftertaste. For a restaurant of this level, I expect more professional handling of such situations and more transparent communication. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant and can only agree with the positive reviews from other guests!
