An absolute highlight of the menu for me is the Pizza Arrabiata. It is simply a masterpiece! The crispy, thin dough, the aromatic tomato sauce with just the right amount of spiciness and the fresh, high-quality ingredients make this pizza an unforgettable taste experience. The balance between the fruity sweetness of the tomatoes and the pleasant spiciness of the pepperoncino is perfectly balanced and tickles the taste buds in a wonderful way. Every time I order this pizza, I am amazed by its quality and authentic taste. But it's not just the pizza arrabiata that's worthy of praise. The entire menu offers a diverse selection of traditional Italian dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. From homemade pasta to delicious meat and fish dishes to delicious dolci – every palate will find something to please here. The wine list is also well-stocked and offers a suitable accompaniment to the food. The service at Il Tramonto is always attentive and courteous. The staff are friendly, professional and ensure that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. You can feel the passion for Italian cuisine and the joy of offering guests an unforgettable culinary experience. For me, the Ristorante Il Tramonto in Alzey is an absolute must for every lover of Italian cuisine. The excellent Pizza Arrabiata alone is worth a visit, but the other dishes and the warm service also make this restaurant a clear recommendation. I always enjoy coming here and am already looking forward to my next visit to Il Tramonto!

This was my third time there. The food is super tasty, very well done. The people who work there are all nice and friendly. The prices are really good in terms of value for money. I'd love to come back

The pizzaria has improved extremely since the change of ownership! Pizzas are always fresh and delicious and the pizza rolls are really a hit! I now get something delicious to eat from this small but fine establishment every week.🙏🏼♥️

I can't say anything about the food. There are no toilets here.

Leider waren wir diesmal sehr enttäuscht. Hatten eine kleine Umbestellung, (Allergie) die nicht beachtet wurde. Nach Beschwerde unsererseits wurde diese korrigiert, in der Küche kam dies weniger gut an- wir mussten es mit anhören, da wir unter dem Küchenfenster saßen. Die Pizza war sehr trocken, hatte wenig Geschmack und der Unterboden war verbrannt. Tortellini waren okay. Der Salat war etwas lieblos und geschmacklos angerichtet. Wir werden es bei Gelegenheit nochmal probieren.

Schnitzel was delicious, nicely breaded and well seasoned. The large salad could do with a little more choice 😉 Only... why does a change to the side dish, for example: fries to fried potatoes, both of which are on the menu, cost an extra €2.40?

It was good and now it's just junk and the crispy chicken is an 11 long and just bad Duck Kean Box. I will never ask here again. It's unfortunate and very unfriendly.

Quite loud, service was very nice but only been at the table twice. Pasta with shrimp, salmon, zucchini and cherry tomatoes in saffron sauce: 1 shrimp, a mini piece of salmon, 1 divided slice of zucchini and 1 divided kish tomato, sauce tasted like grainy broth, a shame.

I ordered there for the first time today because it was recommended to me. First of all, on the positive side, the pizza was very juicy and tasty. Now to the criticisms, I ordered a normal pizza and a family pizza, the family pizza was almost as big as the normal one, although it was significantly more expensive. The delivery takes an incredibly long time, I waited over 2 1/2 hours, I wanted to call every now and then to see if I had been forgotten, but no one answered several times... Unfortunately, this annoyed me so much that I would rather order somewhere else in the future.

We were there for the first time at the weekend and I have to say that everything was perfect. Spontaneously got a table for 4, quality and service top notch! The boss is extremely friendly and the entire team is also accommodating! We'd love to come back!
