Sehr leckeres Essen mit gemütlichen Außenbereich. Waren zum ersten Mal hier. Kommen auch gerne wieder 😊

Sehr schönes Ambiente und toller Biergarten. So richtig idyllisch! Es gibt für jeden Hunger etwas. Entweder die kleinere Variante wie Handkäse mit Musik, Spundekäs, Schinkenbrot, Worschtsalat oder die große Variante wie Rumpsteak und Schnitzel in allen Variationen (auch in Seniorengröße). Der Chef und die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksam. Die „Schobbe“ sind richtig kalt 👍 Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir waren kürzlich in der Museumsschänke in Schafhausen (Alzey) und sind absolut begeistert! Das Schnitzel war einfach super: perfekt gebraten, saftig und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Genau so muss ein gutes Schnitzel schmecken. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den fantastischen Service. Wir wurden von Lena bedient, die unglaublich nett, aufmerksam und herzlich war. Man fühlt sich als Gast sofort willkommen und rundum wohl. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend – wir vergeben absolut verdiente 5 Sterne und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Einfache Speisekarte.....was aber wiederum wieder gut ist..... und vor allem lecker. Gerne dort!!

Ein süß eingerichteter Gastraum mit dem Thema Nähmaschinen. Viele alte Geräte und entsprechende Bilder und Werbeträger. Das Essen war leider bei der gesamten Gruppe von 12 Personen nicht ausreichend gewürzt und ließ hier und da Kochkunst vermissen. Käsespätzle aus Spätzle aus der Tüte mit Sahne ohne Gewürze, ein Toast Hawai ohne richtigen Käse... Die Bedienung war handfest, aber mit der Technik am kämpfen. Als Museum der Region sehr interessant als Restaurant nicht sonderlich gut

Sehr zu empfehlen, das Lokal ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert. Es war alles bestens, das Essen, das Ambiente und das Personal hat sich sehr bemüht. Die Mädels hatten neu angefangen und ea ging schon mal das Eine oder das Andere durcheinander, was aber mit einem gutgemeinten Lächeln gelöst wurde. Auf alle Fälle, einen schönen Abend.

Sehr netter Service, süße Atmosphäre und Dekoration ❤️ Die Käsespätzle waren okay, nachdem man extra Salz und Pfeffer darübergestreut hatte, die Schnitzel waren lecker.

Cozy, good food, good parking facilities and affordable prices

The ambiance and service are simply fantastic. The drinks and food are good, but there's room for improvement: the schnitzels are a bit thick, the fries a bit too thin. The ribbon pasta was overcooked, the sauce bland, and the wild mushrooms looked more like canned mushrooms. It's a shame there's no draft beer. Keep up the good work – getting a little better every day! 👌

Going out to eat is one thing, but then there's the added bonus of a truly memorable experience. There's so much to discover, and the decor is fantastic. We went there spontaneously, and everything was perfect: the food, the prices, the atmosphere – it's unique in our region.

A beautiful beer garden with very friendly staff. Everything feels like a family atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced. Inside, everything is reminiscent of a museum. Lots of old sewing machines and household appliances. Just entering it for the first time was quite surprising. All in all, a place we want to visit again.

A great place, but the food and service were a disappointment. We ordered drinks and were already ready to order our food when the first comment came: "No, I'm just taking the drinks. I'll come back for the food later." 🤔 We waited a long time and finally ordered from her colleague. For dinner: Schnitzel Jägerart - it wasn't a thin schnitzel, but a thick slice of meat with Maggi instant sauce, garnished with canned mushrooms. Salad with salmon: only one type of salad, no raw vegetables, unloving. A lot of space, little choice. I hadn't finished my meal yet when the server asked if she could clear the table. 😌 We weren't even asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. If you want to pay by card, you have to get up, leave your table, and walk to the bar. There's an EC machine there. How about getting a mobile device? Hmmm... unfortunately unprofessional. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. The location is great

I'm absolutely thrilled. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, I was able to taste the wine beforehand, and the service was very courteous and attentive. I'll definitely be back. The sewing machines, thimbles, candles on display—everything was amazing. Presented with so much love. Top-notch!!!

We're fairly new to Alzey. We found this restaurant online. It's a very interesting interior. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

It's a lovely place to sit outside. The interior is quite rustic but has great old exhibits. 4 points for that. The food: Maximum 1 star. Not good value for money. Unfortunately, the quality is very variable. "Sensiorenschnitzel" means a 1/3 portion of the whole schnitzel. It's served on a large plate with a slice of cucumber and a piece of tomato. The "fun" then costs €10.20 (with a slice of bread). It's also rather chewy. My companion ordered a whole schnitzel, so you can appreciate the size differences. The service was also rather curt. We won't be back. Others can do it better.

A beautiful family-run restaurant, very welcoming to children ♡ The food was super delicious, served very quickly, and really big enough for the reasonable price :) The revolver cutlet (min. 300g) was a highlight, super big yet super tender ♡ The pasta was made with a wild mushroom mix and was also impressive. (Also very filling) I would have loved to have the lukewarm chocolate cake for dessert, but I was simply stuffed. There's an incredible amount for children and adults to look at while you sit and wait. I really recommend this place :) My only complaint was the non-alcoholic cocktail, which had simply too much grenadine and was therefore extremely sweet. But it's handmade, so it's bearable that not everyone likes it the same :)

Very large restaurant with tasteful, antique, old German furnishings. Fortunately, a manageable menu and extensive wine list. We came from Saarland today for a family reunion and ate in the museum tavern. I had a classic German version of a rump steak with perfectly cooked fried potatoes, braised onions and herb butter. The doneness was exactly as ordered. I think you could definitely ask for a little more for the quality offered. I would like to eat here again.

Not recommended with children unless you can sit still and quietly. We were told that our children should be quieter, I have never experienced anything like that before!

Waren heute mit der Familie zum zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag essen . Was soll ich sagen habe mich selten so wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der Hausherr ist ein Gastronom mit Leib und Seele . Super nett und immer ein offenes Ohr für seine Geste . Ach und nebenbei Hammer essen und was für eine beeindruckende Auswahl an Spirituosen. So Lecker Whiskey und Brände.

Had dinner with the family today for Boxing Day. What can I say, I have rarely felt so comfortable and welcome. The host is a restaurateur with heart and soul. Super nice and always open to his gestures. Oh and by the way, great food and what an impressive selection of spirits. So delicious whiskey and brandies. And what an impressive space. Essen war ganz ok aber der Beilagensalat total überteuert ( 4,20 Euro) Radieschen und Karotten waren schon ausgetrocknet.

The Handkäs mit Musik dish was delicious, a real treat. I highly recommend. The Käsespätzle dish was bland. The cheese only had the texture to define it, the taste was absent. The Zwiebelschnitzel was okay, nothing exceptional. The meat tasted like pork and the onions tasted like onions, nothing more. Besides that, the place is very interesting with lots of old objects worth looking at, the staff is efficient.

Great atmosphere. When Harald Haxen does it, they are the burners. We, the Blue Fin diving club, hold our regulars' table there and are happy to have found such a great location. The boss (Harald) is unique and the service is great.

Sit in the middle of the museum. Great, what a collection of antique sewing machines in all sizes, colors and variations. Also antique kitchen scales, beer mugs and more. The light is a bit bright and not so comfortable. I expected more from the food. The huge chop was really huge and a bit dry. The service was top. Thank you for the experience.

Schnitzel- und Fritösenparadis. Nix für den Gourmet. Schöne helle, aber große Räume, mit antiquierten Haushaltsmaschinen (z.B. Nähmaschinen). Na gut..., wem es gefällt. Sommer draußen sitzen bestimmt ganz nett, war im Winter da.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, freundliche Bedienung. Ich hatte ein Schnitzel bestellt, das in 10 min. da war. Es war sehr trocken und ich habe die Vermutung das es aus der Fritteuse war.

Die Museumsschänke ist ein bisschen ein ungewöhnliches Wirtshaus. Die Inneneinrichtung ist eine Ausstellung zu Nähmaschinen und weiteren Sammlerstücken. Schaukästen als Raumteiler. Das ist ganz witzig. Flotter Service, angenehm und gut gelaunt. Wir hatten alle Riesenkotelett. Dabei ist eine Scheibe Brot. Bewusst haben wir auf Beilagen wie Pommes Frittes verzichtet. Aber einen Salat. Und der war sehr gut; sogar mit frischen Karotten (Möhren). Das Riesenkotelett war paniert und auf den Punkt gebraten. Prima und lecker. Die Museumsschänke kann ich nur empfehlen. PS: Beim nächsten Besuch werde ich etwas anderes Leckeres aus der deftigen Küche bestellen. Vielleicht aber auch nicht.

Tolles Restaurant. Schnelles, nettes Personal. Portionen groß und günstig. Preiswert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Begrüßung war nett, der Service an sich ok/gut und schnell. Die Location ist interessant eingerichtet, passend zum Namen. Die Preise sind top. Leider war das Essen nicht so gut. Das Schnitzel war teils zu dick, da knorpelig (war aber bei 5 Personen wohl ein Einzelfall). Die Sauce vom Jägerschnitzel war in keinster Weise gelungen und wurde irgendwann von uns angekratzt. Die Pilze, welche beigefügt wurden waren schwammig, Kleid geschnitten - vielleicht aus der Dose. Ich habe zumindest noch keine frischen Pilze mit dieser Konsistenz und dem Geschmack gegessen. Nicht empfehlenswert! Die Bratkartoffeln waren eher frittiert als gebraten und trocken. Leider auch ohne Zwiebeln, Gewürzen oder sonstigem Geschmack. Vielleicht liegt es an den günstigen Preisen - wir hätten ein paar Euro mehr gezahlt, dafür aber leckerer gegessen. Alles Geschmackssache, für uns aber nicht die passende Küche.

Wir kommen immer sehr gerne hier her zum Essen. Unser persönliches Highlight ist der Biergarten mit riesigem Sandkasten für die Kids - so hat man seine Ruhe beim Essen und die Kleinen sind in Sichtweite beschäftigt 😎 Service ist auch 1A und der Wein schmeckt. Einkehren lohnt sich 😀

Wir waren gestern das erste mal bei Frangel‘s es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit tollem Essen und super Service. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Super freundliches Personal da fällt einem das wiederkommen echt nicht schwer.

Das essen kam sehr schnell Der Beilagensalat war uns zu sauer und die Karottenscheiben Stein hart! Das Schnitzel ca 1,5 cm dick ,nur schwer zu kauen! Kroketten waren ok. Die Nudeln in der Soße ertrunken! Sehr sehr schade,so eine tolle Location und son verkackt beim Essen! Is den Weg nicht wert... schade

Nach einer Wanderung zufällig dort gelandet. War sehr lecker, ging flott und Personal war freundlich.

Ein sehr schönes Wein- Ausflugslokal bei Alzey. Das Essen und die Weine sind sehr gut. Wir hatten rheinischen Sauerbraten mit Knödel und Rotkraut alles vom Feinsten gegessen. Die Exponate alter Nähmaschinen, Kassen und Schränke machen das Lokal zusätzlich interessant. Ideal zum Einkehren mit der Familie und/oder mehreren Personen.

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und tolle Bedienung. Jedoch waren wir mega enttäuscht. Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse und Knochenhart und fast schwarz. Echte Rhoihessiche Brotgrummbeere aus der Tiefkühltruhe ein Witz. Kartoffelchips vom Discounter in der Fritteuse anzubieten geht gar nicht. Ihr solltet weniger schnell sein und dafür giute regionale Produkte anbieten. Die Karte online stimmt nicht mit dem Angebot vor Ort überein .Nett aber überbewertet. Ihr habt Potential und mehr regionale einfache Gerichte anbieten. Dankeschön. ..
