Wunderbarer Service, Bier und Pizza!

Das To:mas ist nur zu empfehlen. Wir hatten das Glück, einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu im Außenbereich zu bekommen. Kurz nachdem wir angekommen waren, erhielten wir die Speisekarte und konnten zeitnah bestellen. Da wir eine Flasche Wein trinken wollten, kam darf Chef persönlich um uns einen zu empfehlen. Der war wirklich lecker. Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Es wurden qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten verwendet und das schmeckte man dann auch. Die Servicekraft fragt mehrfach nach, ob noch alles in Ordnung sei. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall dort noch mehrmals hingehen. Auch die Preise sind moderat. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist ok.

- Servicekräfte waren freundlich - Karton's wo man hinguckt im Innenbereich und seltsame Gäste ( betrunken ) - Essen Katastrophe Gebackener Schafskäse wurde nur erwärmt, im Salat waren Knochen vom Hühnchen, Dressing viel zu sauer und zu guter letzt war der Boden der Pinsa angebrannt Natürlich werden wir nicht wiederkommen

Schönen Abend bei euch verbracht. Trotz Personalmangel wurden wir bestens betreut! Kommen bestimmt gerne wieder.

Unbedingt hin gehen. Toller Wein. Toller Mensch der Thomas. Personal super nett.

"Wir sind eine Vinothek, wir haben keinen Tee"...(aber Kaffee, Saft, Bier). Die Getränke (und der Kaffee nach dem Essen) kamen ohne Not erst 15 min nach der Bestellung. Vermutlich kommt Wein schneller. Nett hier, wenn man Zeit hat.

Schöne Weinauswahl und fachkundige Beratung

Immer wieder schön dort. Tolles Ambiente innen und außen. Große Auswahl an Top-Weinen und anderen Getränken. Kleine , leckere und wechselnde Gerichte dazu . Passend zum Wein. Sehr sympathischer Inhaber und tolles Personal. Der Service ist in der Regel zügig. Und wenn es mal etwas dauert, wartet man dort gerne. Wer geht schon in eine Vinothek, wenn er auf der Flucht ist? Die Preise dort sind übrigens fair.

Schöne Neuendeckung in Rheinhessen. Eine Weinbar, die das Potential hat uns zu Stammkunden werden zu lassen. Wunderbare Weinkarte. Sensationelle Sekte. Verführerische Vorspeisen (wir haben sie alle probiert). Und ein aufmerksamer sehr sympathischer Service. Gast was willst Du mehr?

Entspannung bei Wein und netten Gesprächen

Zweimal das gleiche Spiel. Ich habe im Außenbereich Platz genommen und ca 15 Minuten gewartet, bis der Service kommt. Neben mir war noch ein Tisch besetzt, an dem ein Paar sichtlich genervt ebenfalls wartete, sie wollten bezahlen. Die Frau ging schließlich rein, um die Bedienung zu holen - mein Glück, so konnte ich bestellen. Das Essen, eine Pinsa, war sehr gut und der Wein ebenfalls, Grund genug, um wiederzukommen, trotz der gesalzenen Preise. Am nächsten Tag habe ich mir wieder draußen einen Tisch gesucht. Das Lokal war um die Uhrzeit spärlich besetzt, die Bedienung ging gemütlich drinnen herum und sah auch ab und zu nach draußen, dabei blieb es auch. Ich hatte durchaus Zeit, aber auch Hunger und bin daher nach geschlagenen 20 Minuten in die Weinstube gegenüber umgezogen. Die Vinothek präsentiert sich sehr hip und modern, die Tische sind geschmackvoll und dezent dekoriert, das Essen passt, die Weinauswahl ist exzellent - leider vergrault einen der Service.

A lovely wine bar with excellent wines. The owner gives great advice. It has two buildings, also great for larger parties. Delicious food, especially various pinza dishes.

Friendly people. Excellent wines paired with delicious food in a sophisticated, unconventional setting. This wine bar could thrive in any major European city. We love coming here and always leave feeling delighted.

Extremely friendly staff, small menu, more for snacks. The wine list selection is adequate, but mediocre.

Preferably ZERO stars!!! The manager was very unfriendly from the start. Right from the start, he stood out with his negative demeanor; you felt like you were out of place... He remained neutral during the serving, but when it came to paying, he felt he had to tell us how rude we were as a group. We had ordered wine, food, and water, but he still felt that this was too little revenue for a group of 10 people. This kind of behavior is deeply unprofessional and offensive. He attacked us directly with his words; this kind of behavior is not what you would expect in a restaurant that wants to present itself as noble. You expect the customer to be king. Here, you were treated with the utmost disrespect. Overall, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. I have never experienced such behavior in the restaurant industry.

Beautiful location. But with only two people serving on a half-full terrace, they're not paying attention to the guests... that deserves a very low rating for service from us.

Located in the heart of the beautiful old town, this is a wonderful place to watch everyone and anything while they eat. Today I had a pinza with pepperoni sausage and burrata. The flavor was fine, but to make it even better, I would warm the burrata ball before serving. My ball was very cold and solid inside, which cooled the pinza too quickly.

One evening, around 10 p.m., when the weather was nice and several tables were still occupied outside, we politely asked if we could have a drink outside at that time of day. We were rudely told they were about to close. It was strange, because the guests at the other tables all still had full glasses. The same thing happened to us in the restaurant across the street. If you don't want tourists, maybe you should put up a sign saying "Tourists Not Welcome"! We've certainly never experienced anything so unfriendly to guests. Alzey isn't worth a visit...

I was here with a friend in the early evening. The ambiance is quite appealing; the outdoor seating is very nice, but it's very noisy inside. The service isn't very focused; it takes a while, and things are forgotten or brought incorrectly. My friend had a pinsa, which was apparently very good and reasonably priced. I had a salad with "corn-fed chicken" – for over 16 euros, you get a fairly small salad, a few leaves, half a tomato, dressing – nothing more. The quality was substandard. The salad was at least from the day before, with lots of brown spots. The "corn-fed chicken" was lukewarm pre-cooked chicken pieces. Our first and last visit here.

We went to this wine bar for a spring meze. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. At first, the service completely ignored us. We had to be reminded repeatedly about our orders, and sometimes we had to wait a very long time. Parts of the menu were simply forgotten. The price-performance ratio for the food is disproportionate, but the wine is, apart from the fact that the wine was always poured well below the standard mark. For €120 per couple, you'd expect more.

Tarte flambée was very tasty, unfortunately the "mulled wine" was missing from the winemaker's mulled wine (it was more like a sweet children's punch). The Burgundy wine was good again. Dog friendly 👍🏼

Were there for the first time on a recommendation. We just let Thomas do it and had a nice evening. I think the concept and prices are good and consistent. Would definitely recommend it.

First of all: It's great that there is such a "bar" with a focus on wine in AZ. Unfortunately, the implementation isn't really professional, but rather in the category of "That's enough here because there's nothing better here anyway". Wine list without additional information about S, RS, A. Glasses partly dusty, oily. Sensory properties are important when it comes to wine; the smoker, or pinsa oven, pollutes the air in the room and the taste buds. If you haven't seen a good wine bar yet, you'll find it good due to the lack of alternatives. Some of the staff make an effort, but they are obviously largely unprofessional and not properly trained. This conclusion is the result after three visits. I hope it gets better little by little... The potential is there...

Wonderful restaurant. Delicious food, best wines, attentive, very friendly service. One major restriction: it is not possible to pay tips using the card. That doesn't work at all.

The place where you can feel comfortable with the selection of good wines. The selection of dishes is clear but good. No star cuisine, but a recommendation due to its way of being different. The price is rather on the higher level. The staff is friendly and helpful in advising on wines and dishes. The location is to see and be seen, in the heart of the city at the fountain, always something going on. People always enjoy coming here for a drink.

Very nice atmosphere in a unique wine bar with a selection of sophisticated small dishes. What is absolutely special is the variety of excellently selected wines from various regional wineries! Additionally high quality international wines! The operator knows his stuff and runs his shop with passion! He is obviously intrinsically motivated, which makes him a unique selling point in Alzey and the surrounding area! I am thrilled and wish there were more people like this who love their work!

The food is very good, unfortunately the service is bad and the wine list is a disaster, everything is missing, descriptions of the wines and the locations are therefore impossible for a wine bar

I really liked it there. The food was good, the service staff was very nice and helpful. The ambience is also quite nice for a wine bar, but it is extremely loud when the place is busy. The tables are very close together and the room is very well utilized for many guests. There are too few “sound absorbers”. But if that doesn't upset you and you like to drink a good wine, you'll definitely feel at home there. In summer, when you can sit outside, the noise problem certainly arises.

A gem in the area! Wow! What a selection of wine! There is also a small menu with pinsa and salads (both very tasty - I would have liked to have had more starters or appetizers to choose from). Nice, cozy atmosphere and all the service staff were very nice. It is advisable to make reservations, especially on weekends. In the building next door you can also eat the same dishes in a somewhat quieter environment and buy all the wines by the bottle.

Today we ate and drank well again. Nice and quick service fulfilled all wishes. To:mas the wine bar is always worth a visit.

We were there with 25 people for wine tasting and dinner (mezze). Thomas is more than just a restaurateur with an impressive knowledge of wine and winemakers as well as a knack for delicious food! Rather, he is a real host and guides you through a pleasant evening. Thanks!

Current situation. We sit in To:Mas and get the first wine recommended by the waitress. Then we sit for more than 30 minutes with empty glasses, a waitress of 4 asks if we can order something else, the answer was that we should do this with our colleague. The colleague in question looks at our table several times, it is not cleared or asked if we would like another wine. Cozy atmosphere, good wine.

Top Empfehlung für Alzey! Wir hatten das Dinner for 2 mit zwei hausgemachten Pasten, Salat und Pinsa. Alles war wahnsinnig lecker!! Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und das Ambiente ist sehr schön 🤩

Ein Stern ist noch zuviel.... sodass unhöflich.... mit barschem Ton ..braucht ihr was ... angesprochen werden geht garniert. Kein Guten Tag.... und dann ohne was zu daten wird die Karten auf den Tisch geknallt.. nein danke da geh ich lieber woanders hin

War schon oft da. Ist jedesmal absolut Wunderbar! Nette Bedienung, ausgesprochene Pinsa und natürlich die Weine. Super gelegen.

Voor een fijn glas wijn, salade en pinsa (soort tussenvorm van pizza en flammenkuchen). Zeer vriendelijke en attente bediening. Gewoon lekker goed en redelijk geprijsd.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise von Griechenland an den Niederrhein. WoMo Stellplatz in Alzey, 150 m in die Altstadt , am Abend noch schnell in die Altstadt in einer superschönen Weinbar gelandet. Netter Chef, Niveauvoller Wein, Essen und Ambiente. Alzey Altstadt, wir kommen wieder zu to:mas die Weinbar!!!!

Sehr schöne Weinbar mit großer Weinauswahl und leckerem Essen. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Hier kommen wir immer wieder gerne hin. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Tischreservierung erforderlich, da immer gut besucht. 👍

Das Personal ist wirklich nicht nett, Gäste werden ignoriert, Tische von vorherigen Gästen werden nicht gewischt, wenn man es geschafft hat, zu bestellen und auch zu essen, stehen auf der Rechnung Getränke, die nie verzehrt wurden, die viel gelobte Pinsa ist oft verbrannt, ..... Ich könnte die Liste endlos fortführen, wir werden nicht mehr einkehren.

War ein schöner Nachmittag. Toiletten waren sauber , essen war gut und der Wein auch . Man sollte auf der Karte hinzufügen das der Ziegenkäse mit Mango chutney Walnüsse enthält. Für Allergiker nicht geeignet

Ein echter Glückstreffer! Die Pinsa meine willkommene Alternative zur herkömmlichen Pizza. Ein superbekömmlicher Teig mit frischen Zutaten, kreativ und reichlich belegt, liebevoll zum Schluss mit Pesto, frischem Basilikum oder sonstigem garniert. Sehr gute Weinempfehlungen runden das Ganze ab. Herzlichkeit und Authentizität bieten kaum noch freie Sitzplätze... Doch togo ist auch eine gute Möglichkeit die Leckereien zu Hause gemütlich zu genießen! Vielen Dank! Freue mich immer wieder auf das nächste Mal!
