The Deutsches Haus in Reckenfeld is exactly what you imagine a good German restaurant to be: honest food, decent portions and prices that are still reasonable. There's nothing with fancy decorations on the plate here - what counts here is what tastes good. And it does! Whether it's schnitzel, roast meat or a cold beer - you'll be full and happy here. If you're looking for small portions, you're in the wrong place here. But if you have to open the buttons on your pants after a hearty meal, you've come to the right place! Clear recommendation! 🍻

The restaurant is rustic but also comfortably furnished. But the food is more important to us. To put it briefly... the food was great. Not our last visit.

Trotz einer online Tischreservierung 1 Woche vorher wurde uns ein Tisch mitten im Raum Nahe der Eingangstür zugewiesen, an denen 2 weitere Personen schon saßen. Später konnten wir an einen schönen 4er Tisch umziehen. Das Essen war ganz schmackhaft und schön angerichtet. Der Hauptgang kam unverzüglich nach dem Abräumen der Vorspeise. An dieser Stelle wäre ein Hinweis auf die Schließung um 22 Uhr hilfreich gewesen. Als wir nämlich gegen 21:30 Uhr nach der Dessert Karte fragten, erhielten wir die Antwort, dass es zu spät für ein Dessert sei. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass die Öffnungszeiten weder außen sichtbar noch auf der Website zu finden seien, erhielten wir eine leicht flapsige Antwort, dass man es vielleicht nicht leicht finden könne. Alles in allem fühlten wir uns trotz des schönen Ambientes nicht so ganz willkommen. Auch andere Gäste wurden kurz nach 22 Uhr mit leichtem Nachdruck gebeten zu gehen. Insgesamt machte das Restaurant auf uns den Eindruck, unprofessionell geführt zu werden.

We ordered a salad, unfortunately I can't recommend it, we didn't like it at all. We had stomach ache afterwards. The pizza rolls weren't ready yet 👎

Unfortunately, you cannot or do not want to pay outstanding invoices. Registered mail, messages and calls are no longer responded to... A positive collaboration looks different!

I love this store. The subs are great. We go there once a month. It is the only fast food that you can eat without hesitation. The service is great. Very polite and nice. I'm really working up an appetite writing the recession :-) Part 2. (2024) the shop now has a new name and also sells burgers and pizza (the competition is right opposite). I've lost some of the charm now. However, there is now a delivery service.
