The kebab is one of the best in the city, 1 star deducted, as there are often different things to choose from early on. I'm of the opinion that if you run a restaurant, you should make sure that some things don't run out early in the afternoon. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Doner and Pizza were both so good! We did takeout and the service was quick and efficient. Server really made sure to pack in the ingredients for the doner, and the pizza was very cheesy!
Very attractive outdoor area, so our anticipation was great. Nice atmosphere in the dining room and nice, friendly service. The salads looked very appetizing, but unfortunately they were a very dry affair, and we were given house dressing upon request.
My linguine with plenty of truffles looked wonderful, but was still far from the ideal cooking point, far too hard.....when I asked, I got a new portion....cooking point now perfect, now unfortunately drowned in cream and only with a touch of truffle.
It's a shame, price/performance is in no way consistent.
....Furthermore, the walk to the sanitary facilities was very unpleasant; in the beautifully designed cellar, which also includes a wine cellar, there was a pungent smell of manhole. .....
Unfortunately, our expectations were not met.
At the beginning it was really a really tasty kebab. Unfortunately, the quality and variety decreased over time. Now you mainly find iceberg lettuce, some red cabbage and white cabbage, a tomato and a pepperoni in your kebab. At the beginning there was often corn, fresh cucumber, parsley and carrots. It's a total shame, but it's no longer understandable, especially given the price increase.
The pizza and pasta were quite ok. I had schnitzel with cream sauce, but wished I could have had a freshly made schnitzel for €18.
This one was neither homemade, breaded, nor pan-fried.
Since I've sold convenience products for long enough, I know them.
It was also fried in the deep fryer.
The service was friendly, the restaurant itself and the outside area are clean and well maintained.
It's better to ask for €2 more and get a fresh schnitzel in return
The pizza was really excellent - one of the best we've eaten in Neustadt so far! Particularly noteworthy are the excellent quality of the dough and the ingredients used.
What I didn't like, however, was that according to the menu the pizza was supposed to have a diameter of 30 cm, but it was actually only 27 cm. Extrapolated, this means an area that is around 19% smaller - and in my opinion that is well outside of an acceptable tolerance.
In any case. We ate well, especially the Italian salad and the seafood spaghetti were very tasty. The waitresses were very friendly and the service itself was great. It wasn't the last time we were there.
2024: Bilal is no longer there! 😭 The kebab snack bar has a new owner. The store is now called TAL.
Unfortunately the new kebab is not competitive. Previously top quality (fresh bread & juicy chicken leg meat). Now dry chicken and turkey mix with run-of-the-mill bread and bland sauce.
It's a shame that Neustadt's best kebab shop no longer exists.
Mit weitem Abstand der beste Döner in Neustadt, frisch und super lecker, Brot wird selbst gemacht. Das Fleisch ist immer gut durch. Das Restaurant ist sauber, der Besitzer immer freundlich. 100% empfehlenswert.
