The Brauhaus Grohe is the first address for me in Darmstadt if I want to enjoy good local cuisine and spend a nice evening with friends. You are guaranteed to get excellent beer and really good home-style dishes here. The only thing I wouldn't eat here is the Kässpätzle because they're spelled incorrectly and come with dried onions and no salad, but I would never order them outside of the Spätzleländle anyway.
