Delicious food, fast and attentive staff

I can 100% recommend the Abessina restaurant! The ambience is wonderfully alternative, which gives the overall experience a very special charm. The cuisine is authentic and exceptionally delicious - everything on my plate far exceeded my expectations. It was so good that I'm already planning when I'll come back next time! The portions are just right, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair - a real highlight for anyone who wants to experience African cuisine. At the weekend I would recommend reserving a table as it is often very busy. For me a must in Nürtingen – 5 stars!

The landlord was super friendly and looked after us very personally. Just like the other guests. The food was excellent and I think it's great that there is a restaurant like this in Ulm. This contributes to diversity and quality of life. Thanks for the great evening

The food was good, unfortunately there was no ostrich meat. Otherwise ok.

It was very tasty and beautifully presented. I had the vegan mixed platter “Beyaynetu-Afrika-Teller” with the typical sourdough flatbread and my girlfriend had the same with couscous. The couscous was very tasty and well seasoned. Everything was nice and spicy and really tasty. The service was very nice. We'll definitely be back! It took an hour to get the food, but we got our drinks very quickly and there was only one person there to take care of everyone. If you have some time, it's completely ok. The only drawback was that there wasn't much of a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I expected something more. There was Cola, Fanta, water and apple juice spritzer, but I would probably have liked a juice spritzer made from currants, rhubarb, or something similar. There was beer and wine. So really just complaining at a high level. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back! :)
