Super authentic and homemade Thuringian dishes! Anyone who leaves the main road and turns into the town to the inn will not be disappointed! Lots of regulars there, which speaks highly of the restaurant! If we visit there again on vacation we would definitely come back!!!

Great food at a reasonable price. Also other drinks. Competent service in a beautiful atmosphere. Cozy and delicious. Small but nice card where nothing is missing. Clear recommendation.

We were in the restaurant today, so we can't comment on the accommodation. We came across the Sonnenhof by chance when we were looking for restaurants in Tambach-Dietholz. Very interesting restaurant with a western flair, which the name "Sonnenhof" doesn't suggest. Large selection of home-style cuisine. Our food was very tasty, freshly prepared and prices were ok. We would love to come back and can only recommend the Sonnenhof!!!

We ended up here because most restaurants in the region are closed on Mondays. We were already suspicious that we were all alone in the restaurant at 5:30 p.m. You can't say anything against the service. The young woman was really nice. The food wasn't that great. My tagliatelle with salmon in tomato cream sauce was very bland. Then we had schnitzel with cheese gratinated with fried potatoes. Both definitely came from the freezer. That doesn't work at all! The only one in the family who was happy was my daughter with her burger. Conclusion. You definitely don't have to stop here!

Okay, the location is very good, especially when the weather is nice, but the quality of the food is not very good. A lot of ready-made sauces, no love in the dishes, ingredients lean and presentation was also very weak.
