Service seemed a bit distracted and uninterested in the customer. The appetizer was okay, but the price was way too high for that. The way the plates were presented suggests the lights in the kitchen weren't working... honestly, it looked like preschoolers had put it on the plate. The pizza had more tomato sauce on it than a plate of pasta, making it soggy and soft. The dough and the carelessly thrown-on topping were also undercooked - the salami looked like it was fresh out of the fridge. We had two different ones, and honestly... neither tasted of anything. As an absolute pizza lover, I have to say this was the worst pizza I've ever had! A shame, considering the restaurant's location and the large pizza oven in the entrance area.

We pre-ordered takeaway and picked it up. The staff on the phone and during pickup were very nice and friendly. The ambiance by the lake was really lovely. The food, however, was only average in our opinion, but the price was right. Just under 20 euros for antipasti with fish was rather unjustified. Vegetables, a bit of salami and hard cheese, and a decent amount of surimi, like you'd find in a supermarket. All in all, OK, but don't expect too much; it's more of a standard Italian restaurant.

Good Italian food. The price/performance ratio is also good. Plenty of covered outdoor seating right by the pond. Nice ambiance. The wait for food is 20-30 minutes, so it's perfectly acceptable.

It's a shame that the restaurant is closed from September 1st to September 9th, 2025. However, Google lists it as open as of September 3rd. Not good.

Been coming here for 5 years every time my husband and I visit Germany. Today is last time we came. Food was cold, service was rude. Keep forgetting our order. 1/5 Ciao!

Four of us went there this week and wanted ice cream. There were three tables occupied, and the waitress was listless and unfriendly. It's a shame, really; we've been going there for many years and have always received friendly service. The ice cream wasn't tasty, certainly not homemade. The quality is up to scratch, and the price isn't even close to perfect. This location should be a gold mine, but they still need to improve their quality.

The ice cream we had today wasn't good. We had five different flavors, and none of them were really tasty... Sorry, but Italian ice cream tastes different 😢

I'd prefer not to give it a star, starting with the unfriendly service. The table was wiped down right where we were sitting, and crumbs were often thrown onto our laps. The quality of the pizza here was abysmal, with really cheap toppings, so the pizza didn't taste good at all. And the best part was, apparently, they only paid in cash. I had to go home and get the rest of the money. You should actually report this to the tax office to see if everything is being properly declared.

The pizza was really great. Everything was very neat and tidy. The location is also very nice.

Recommended. Unfortunately, no card payments. We sat outside. And when you arrive, it could somehow be a different restaurant. The Italian one is well "camouflaged." It's nice to sit outside with a view of the pond. All the tables for 6 were reserved. But no one came in the 1.5 hours we were there.

The name says it all: a true paradise with stunning views and exquisite Italian food. We visited three times during our vacation and were absolutely thrilled each time, both with the culinary delights and the consistently friendly and attentive service. I might not even give one star. No welcome. There were 7 of us and they offered us a table for 4. When we complained "rightly" we were told they couldn't put two tables together. We left! Too bad we wanted to eat meat after being at the pool all day... we gave our money to those who really deserve it!

3 days of wonderful outside with a view of the lake to enjoy a good white wine and delicious Italian dishes such as an antipasti with garlic bread, a delicious meat dish and also the different types of pasta are delicious. Don't forget to order the homemade tiramisu for dessert. Never eaten so delicious. The service very nice and professional they recognized us of course on the 3rd day.

A few days ago I sent Ristorante Paradiso a respectfully worded feedback about my visit by email - unfortunately without any response. I would have liked a minimum of feedback. I was a guest on a Wednesday evening and ordered a salad. The presentation was disappointing: the impression was as if a simple salad mix had been placed on the plate and supplemented with mozzarella - no bread, no herbs, no visible effort. The waitress seemed tense, didn't make eye contact, and as a guest you had the feeling that you were more of a nuisance than welcome. I had hoped that my personal and reserved feedback would provide an opportunity for improvement. I find it disappointing that there wasn't even a response to this - not out of principle, but out of respect for the guest who takes the time to give honest and friendly feedback.

Ich habe Ristorante Paradiso vor einigen Tagen per E-Mail ein respektvoll formuliertes Feedback zu meinem Besuch geschickt – leider ohne jede Reaktion. Dabei hätte ich mir ein Minimum an Rückmeldung gewünscht. Ich war an einem Mittwochabend zu Gast und bestellte einen Salat. Die Präsentation war enttäuschend: Der Eindruck war, als sei eine einfache Salatmischung auf den Teller gegeben und mit einem Mozzarella ergänzt worden – ohne Brot, ohne Kräuter, ohne sichtbare Mühe. Die Bedienung wirkte angespannt, machte keinen Blickkontakt, und als Gast hatte man das Gefühl, eher zu stören als willkommen zu sein. Ich hatte gehofft, dass mein persönliches und zurückhaltendes Feedback die Chance zur Verbesserung bietet. Dass darauf nicht einmal reagiert wurde, empfinde ich als enttäuschend – nicht aus Prinzip, sondern aus Respekt vor dem Gast, der sich Zeit nimmt, um ehrlich und freundlich Rückmeldung zu geben.

It was a nice Italian restaurant where it doesn't get so crowded. It is recommended to sit outside in the evening when the weather is good, as the sun shines beautifully on the lake.

In principle yes, but they can't handle criticism here. Tiramisu without Amaretto, even though it said with Amaretto. There was only an Axel twitch. Otherwise it was great that day.

Okay, the location is very good, especially when the weather is nice, but the quality of the food is not very good. A lot of ready-made sauces, no love in the dishes, ingredients lean and presentation was also very weak.

This was my second time passing through there and traveling alone. Very good service. Even the table candle was lit and vinegar, oil, salt and pepper were served with the salad without any special request and the service was courteous. Which is rather unusual for people traveling alone. The salad was super fresh and the bolognese was very tasty. The detour from the motorway is worth it.

There were such delicious pizzas here, just great

Four of us plus a 2 1/2 year old toddler went there for dinner yesterday. First we sat for a while until the waitress came and then asked for the menu. The waitress was then annoyed because she thought we wanted something from the ice cream menu (it was already on the table). Since there was nothing on the menu for children, we asked for a plate and a fork for our little one so that she could eat with us. For dessert we ordered three ice creams and were told that the strawberry cup could also be made in small sizes. Unfortunately, when this arrived we had no comparison to the large ice cream sundae because it had been forgotten. We then reminded the service staff that a cup was missing. Then when we got the bill we almost lost faith: our little one's dishes were charged €2 and no one pointed this out to us, the small strawberry cup then costs €8 instead of €9.50 - that's not what I understand Children's sundae and then the large sundae was charged twice. The service person had a fake smile and you didn't really feel welcome.

Six of us were there for lunch today and it was really nice. We were served by a lovely woman who enchanted us with her beautiful Italian aura. The food was classic and very tasty! A really nice destination with a great view. We will be back definitely. :)

Ice cream was very tasty, I can't say anything about the food itself. Very nicely located on the gondola pond, in my opinion the winery was a bit rear table and in places without a plan.

So the ice cream sundaes, in a small bowl, are the last thing for 9.90 The beautiful view of the lake is of no use!!! and only cash payment, it was already mentioned here, that says it all!! I can't recommend it more!!

We had dinner with 6 people. Of course with reservation. The ambience is of course a dream when you can sit outside. The food was very tasty, quick and plentiful. The service - well. Very listless staff, hardly a smile. We actually felt like we were a nuisance... When you take the order, you just talk to the employees and that's not possible. The cards were handed out without a smile. It was not possible to order cola beer, even though it was draft beer. All in all, if you don't mind unfriendly staff, it's recommended. However, if you want to feel welcome as a (paying) guest, then not.

Unfortunately it has worn off a lot. You don't exactly feel welcome. The waitresses look unfriendly and aren't very friendly either. Very unfortunate.

We have known this restaurant since the beginning. Although I moved once, I was at home at the Hammerteich. The service is always very friendly. Also the boss. The pizza maker greets every guest with a smile and a nod of the head. even when he is under “stress”. The food was always very good right from the start. Pizza with Parma ham very well topped. We just ate 2 pizzas, a strawberry ice cream breaker and a small Pinocchio ice cream sundae. The pizzas (€10 and €10.50) had moderate toppings and were thinner than tarte flambée. For €6.50 I got a Pinocchio ice cream with 2 scoops of my choice. And for a whopping €9.50 there were ONLY 2 scoops of vanilla and a scoop of strawberry in a STRAWBERRY ICE CRUSHER. I don't think the price-performance ratio is right.

First we just sat around without service for 20 minutes... even though there were at least 3 employees jumping around... Apparently only one of them is allowed to take orders and bill them. After someone finally came to our table and we asked for the menu, we were told in an unfriendly tone that only pizza and salads could be ordered. The cherry on top was that you could only pay in cash. Sry but in 2024 only cash payment is a no go. The operators will have their reasons for this.... We then left

The decor is really not nice, the waiters could be much friendlier, and the food, well: Quality is OK if you like canteen quality, but the price is very outrageous.

We had lunch with 4 people, were served quickly and tasted very good. Food was also plentiful.

We sat outside, it's ok, I don't like it inside, very outdated... The food was good though. Unfortunately the service needs improvement. You can only pay in cash in this restaurant. That alone is actually no longer possible these days (the service can't do anything about it). But what's much worse is that it's not pointed out to you. At the end you are actually amazed when you pay. No solution was offered either. I also asked for Paypal or bank transfer but everything was refused. The service person has to mention something like this at the beginning, it's really not difficult to do. This kind of thing happens all the time... This cash payment always leads to the suspicion that tax evasion is being carried out. That's a reason for me not to go back...

I can recommend it with conviction. There is a large pond outside and you can observe many animals on and under the water surface. Boat rentals are offered. Very harmonious atmosphere inside, everything clean and well maintained. The culinary cards speak for themselves. In any case, we really liked it.

I only give one star today because we weren't served at all. We sat on the terrace and after choosing something from the menu, I had the time to watch the two waitresses. Since I also worked in the catering industry, I think I can assess the situation well. It was well filled, but the two of them weren't stressed. There was also a waiter serving. We sat there...and sat...and sat. There was simply no one coming. Serving and orders were taken at the tables next to us. Then I made eye contact with a waitress who was standing at the door and didn't look stressed. She looked back and looked and looked... and nothing happened. Our table was the only one not served the entire time we were there. After 20 minutes we decided to leave. I asked the other waitress why we weren't served. She really said very rudely that they had no staff. But now comes the kicker. After I replied that we had waited 20 minutes for service, she just rudely said that we had waited even longer. What kind of dealing with potential guests is this? If they had really been stressed, a quick, nice bit of information about it while we were still sitting would have been enough. But stress looks different to me. Then I can't stand around, talk to guests or watch guests. I've never experienced that anywhere before. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Good food, nice service, nice ambience

It used to be good, but unfortunately it has deteriorated in terms of quality and service. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right. The ice cream offering is also very manageable. There are better offers out there. Dirty sayings when comparing invoices and only cash payment possible. There was no evidence.

Have been there several times. However, you might want to sit outside on the terrace with your family and friends and pre-order. You won't be granted a reservation on the terrace for so many people. It is said that no reservation for outside is possible for 10 people. This is a pointless system. They still make money.

I wanted to get different scoops of ice cream on my hand. Since I rely on a gluten-free diet (celiac disease), I asked about this. The unfriendly and obviously annoyed lady explained to me that she didn't know whether it contained gluten. Then it was said that I could eat the dairy ice cream. Shortly afterwards she said again that that wouldn't work either. It should be mentioned that they advertise that the ice cream is made in-house. I'll be avoiding the place soon. Unfortunately, another ice cream parlor in town was closed. There I know that it always works without any problems and that the home-made ice cream is served by a friendly waitress.

Stopped by with the family for a coffee and a bite to eat after a hike. Table for 7 people was great. Ordered drinks and small things to eat. Drinks came quickly, which wasn't great because my wife's coffee was so strong, so I had to ask 4 times for a little tap water. At a good Italian restaurant you get that!! When the vegetable soup came for our friend, the soup spilled over on the way to the table and the plate was put on the table. An apology would have been helpful. I thought the employees were a little overwhelmed.

Okay pizza salami is easy and always works. I got a loveless pizza from which I had to cut off about 2 to 3 cm of the edge because... No toppings. The salami was carelessly thrown on top. The dough doughy. Taste 0815. Friendliness only as much as necessary. Update, February 17, 2024. The pizza still looks and tastes loveless (see photo). The service staff is reserved and friendly.

In summer a nice opportunity to sit outside, go for a walk and ride a pedal boat. The food is also really authentic and tasty. The service is very friendly and organized. Not the best Italian I've ever been to, but a very, very good one.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Schlechter Service (eingebildet, arrogant). Angebot sehr überschaubar und die „Eisbecher“ insofern man die so nennen kann, sind lieblos und das Eis ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir gehen nicht nochmal hin.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war maximal mittelmäßig zu zu hohen Preisen. Die Pizza war total matschig und auch geschmacklich nicht besonders. Nudeln waren auch nicht besser… Die Garnelen haben tranig geschmeckt… Es war sehr schade. Der Lichtblick war die Lage und das Personal war sehr nett.

Nummer 1 in Unfreundlichkeit Leider konnten wir hier mich Essen, für in 13 Personen wurde und nicht erlaubt zwei Tische zusammenzustellen. Sowohl der Herr hinter der Theke als auch die Kellnerinnen waren sehr abweisend. Scheinbar brauch das Restaurant keine neuen Gäste oder Umsatz?

Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den See, Das Personal wirkte oberflächlich freundlich. Zuerst haben wir uns auf das hausgemachte italienische Eis gefreut. Geschmacklich kam es aber in keiner Weise an das Eis heran, das man sonst beim Italiener bekommt.

Prachtige locatie aan het water en wandelpad. Eten vond ik wat minder want de broccoli bevatte nog veel te veel stengels. Dat ben ik zo niet gewend. De Pizza zag er iets gebrand uit en de calzone was geheel ingezakt. Bediening absoluut klasse, leuek en vriendelijke sfeer.

Ristorante Paradiso in Georgentahl ist sehr gut gelegen am Hammerteich und das Eis schmeckt dort auch nur muss man eine weile auf den Service warten bis er eine Bestellung auf nimmt . Vielleicht war es nur heute so und in der Woche über ist es vielleicht anderst ansonsten sehr schön.
