After we were told so many good things, we finally got our own impression of the “farmer”. And everything is true. A cuisine close to home is celebrated here with a lot of passion. Down-to-earth yet sophisticated. Sauerbraten, goulash, schnitzel au four: everything tasted wonderful. Familiar, but according to our own recipe. The farmer’s special cake was also a highlight. The portions of the main courses are very generous. If you can't make it, you can take the rest with you. Yes, you sometimes have to be patient until the food comes; But everything is fresh and home cooking at the highest level. Those who are particularly hungry should simply order a small appetizer. 😉 A final word about the ambience: It is exactly what you imagine with this restaurant name: Cozy, warm, homely, familiar. We felt warmly welcome.

The Punjab Restaurant offers a huge selection of dishes, and the quality is consistently excellent. The Indian specialties are a particular highlight. The waitresses are attentive and prompt. Highly recommended!

The lady who served me today is the perfect trademark for Subway in Eilenburg. I have never experienced such a friendly and courteous demeanor within the various fast food chains! Keep it up!

This place is highly recommended, especially for families with small children. The food and ice cream sundaes are excellent. The staff is attentive and outstanding, down to the last detail. We were there with four families, and nothing was left to be desired, even though we didn't even have a reservation. We'd be happy to come back anytime. See you soon.

This restaurant hasn't been around for 10 years!!!

Unfortunately, I have to edit my previous review to make it negative. People are still being misled by false online prices, which have been significantly increased. A 0.75ml bottle of still water is now being charged €9.90. The dishes have lost their flavor; pasta tastes bland and completely overcooked. On top of that, we were cheated out of a side dish today. We had rice and pasta, but when we unpacked the dishes at home, we were only given the pasta. What a disgrace. Hygiene also leaves a lot to be desired: dirty tablecloths, you could see leftovers from the previous person's meal—yuck. So be careful when you take your remaining dishes with you, what they pack for you. The entrance door is also almost impossible to open. I get the impression that they let everything fall down, but they're making a lot of money. I can only hope that things get better.
