Super tasty pizza, wafer-thin base and not pressed into a sheet pan, like most "pizzerias" This is how a pizza should be!

The waiters are friendly, the food is served quickly, tastes good, and the price is moderate.

When we first inspected it (at lunchtime outside opening hours), the restaurant gave the impression of being permanently closed, as there were neither opening times nor a menu posted and the entrance was blocked by garden furniture. When we stopped by again in the evening, our impression was not confirmed. The restaurant was almost 40% full. So it was easy to get a place. The rustic atmosphere is very appealing and the staff is very friendly. We can't say anything about the hotel as we were only there to eat. It is customary for us to share every dish or course. Dealing with our desire is a real challenge for some restaurants. The Hotel Landhaus zur Issel dealt with this as follows: Depending on the course, we were given an additional plate with the dish or we were given two plates and the dish was served on an extra plate. We found this to be a very good solution. We ordered as First course: Homemade dill and salmon crostini Second course: Mediterranean Greek salad (we were missing some bread here) third course: fried vegetable noodles fourth course: Dobio ice cream walnut vanilla with caramel sauce We had the impression that all dishes were freshly prepared. They were all very tasty. What we particularly liked: All dishes were prepared with little salt and fat. Adding salt is always possible, but it wasn't necessary for us because we eat very little salt. Thanks to the sparing use of fat, the dishes were very digestible. The menu posted online was not 100% identical to the one in the restaurant. The price-performance ratio was ok. We only found the wines to be too expensive (0.2l glass from €7.50 and up). So we decided on beer. At the end we got a nightcap on the house. We were certainly not here for the last time.

We have rarely eaten as well as we did in this restaurant. The map is extremely well developed. Very good selection of dishes without being overwhelmed by the sheer number. The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get (almost cheap) We were here with a stroller and got a table for 6 with 4 people so we had enough space. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was also super friendly. We would love to come back, even if we live a little further away.

Ordered 2 Dürüm, 1 salad and 1 kebab plate. Get pizza rolls and 1 liter of Fanta for free. Total €31. We enjoyed it. The portions were large and we were served very friendly. All in all really good.

After we had unpleasant experiences with the restaurant in the neighborhood in the summer and have already checked them off, we are going there again today! We would have preferred to save ourselves the trip and the money! We don't hold grudges and we never give second chances... The food was far from meeting the minimum requirements and was indefinable when served! “Pork medallions with Parma ham” looked like they were soaked in a transparent, watery sauce, the grill plate only contained, for a good Italian, fatty, fried meat in a “transparent” pepper sauce! The waitress has no overview of the available wines, and there is no separate wine list! All in all (this only reflects my objective assessment) it is perhaps sufficient for pizzas on the one hand, but far overrated for an upscale Italian restaurant on the other! In the future we will save ourselves another visit there and would rather take 15 minutes more travel time and drive to Bocholt…

The price-performance ratio is right here. The food came quickly and it was very tasty. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

We sat comfortably on the terrace and were served very nicely.
