The food is always really good! The quality is good, has not decreased, and the waiting time is not long either. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit uncomfortable and cold. But the food is great! We went there regularly for a long time. Unfortunately the shop is currently closed (due to construction work)
Excellent all around!!! An ingenious menu, a top wine pairing - and all in a totally charming atmosphere. We'll be going back here very soon.
Update 10/2024: there for the 4th time. And always just perfectly tasty and nice.
Update 05/2025: always an absolutely great experience!
Here you get the MOST DELICIOUS Margherita!! Local: modest but exactly my kind. You can sit inside and outside and the service is of course friendly :))!
Thank you for being here with us. I hope you are all in good health. We haven’t eaten here before, but unfortunately, as fate would have it. Your last day was at 19th of April.
Dear Dontak team, your food is still very tasty, but now you have increased the prices again. You now pay 7 euros for a normal portion. The portions are getting smaller and smaller (since you started using the cardboard bowls). This has now become too expensive for me. Unfortunately, you have lost me as a customer, even though your food is great. Very unfortunate!
We were there on a Sunday evening around 6:30 p.m. There was still little activity, the service was prompt and friendly, the food (bruschetta, focaccia, penne) was very good, plentiful and cheap.
Very excellent catering with really excellent food. The owner takes his time, is very friendly with really great suggestions and at fair prices. The location also invites you to parties and with this ambience it is simply perfect.

Wow, went here because of the stellar ratings but left totally disappointed. Stick to the fried chicken if possible. For me the rest was a huge disappointment. The octopus balls only had the tiniest morsel of octopus inside. This and the omurice all came drowned in brown fast food sauce. The ramen was OK but really nothing to write home about, especially when it comes to the broth. In a city like Düsseldorf with tons of top-notch Japanese restaurants it's beyond me how this place manages to exist. Maybe it's for a more fast-food / industrial food taste?
As a couple, we were motivated to eat at this restaurant by the many good reviews here.
First the positive things: there is a nice view of the harbor, the service is okay and the beer is delicious.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food and cannot recommend it. The very thick breading of the Jägerschnitzel was so salty that we could only eat it by removing it. The fried potatoes were very thick, cut and unfortunately not very roasted.
Overall, the ambience is not that nice, as the seventies-style furnishings are not very appealing. A renovation would certainly help.
