The one star is for the nice and helpful staff. We were able to order fresh egg dishes for breakfast one day and suddenly it was no longer possible the next day. We were told that this cannot be done if there are a certain number of guests. Impossible for a 4-star hotel. If you cannot implement this, you should consider whether you should downsize the hotel or hire more staff. I felt very sorry for the staff because they seemed very overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with the service. Some guests complained that some items at the buffet and dishes could not be replenished quickly enough. Some things were simply no longer refilled, even after guests asked. When it comes to the scrambled eggs at the buffet, I am very sure that this came from the Tetra Pack. The boiled eggs were inedible because they were kept warm for far too long. It's a shame if you can't enjoy eggs for breakfast. In the evening you look very old as a vegetarian because you have to make do with the side dishes. I feel that is no longer appropriate for today's times. Especially since you can specify this when booking. Then why? The next day the room we were sitting in still smelled of the fish from the night before. Unfortunately, the staff couldn't even give us information about the ingredients of the dessert, which weren't on the menu. Just because of the fact that as a vegetarian you are fobbed off with side dishes and still have to pay the full price for them, I won't be coming back.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in October this year in the Karl Restaurant with 18 people. Our guests and we were super excited. Everything went well from the champagne reception to the end. The food deserves 10 stars. Many thanks to everyone who was involved in the wonderful celebration. Our special thanks go to Ms. Cammarano, Mr. Linkenheil for the organization and our lovely waitress Ms. Brökelmann. We'll definitely be back.

Were here out of necessity. Since it's very cheap, we really didn't expect much. For 2 people we paid €29 including drinks! But it was surprisingly tasty 😋 Service was friendly. The ambience isn't that cozy but it's okay. Would come again 😊

We've been there twice so far and ordered a doner kebab plate each time. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. 3 out of 4 dishes we ordered were not available. This also includes the vegetarian chicken, which makes up half of the veggie dishes. The liver plate was no longer available, but there were other dishes with liver? Didn't make sense to us. The Aperol Spritz was completely non-carbonated, the red wine tasted like it had been open for months. The breaded squid rings were limp and rubbery. The steak, on the other hand, was okay, the tzatziki was tasty and the service was friendly. Unfortunately it only felt like 19 degrees in the store, so I had to keep my jacket on. Next time we will probably go somewhere else.

Obwohl noch genug Platz vorhanden war, hat man uns an die zugige Eingangstür gesetzt, auf Nachfrage, ob wir woanders sitzen dürfen, sagte man uns, die freien Tische sind für mehr bzw. weniger Personen geeignet, aber nicht für 5 Personen. Wir mussten über 1 Std. auf das Essen warten (Ok, es war Weihnachten und gut besucht, da sagt man nichts). Dann kam endlich mein heiss ersehnter Bauernsalat, aber was für ein Reinfall: der Salat bestand zum überwiegenden Teil aus Zwiebelstreifen und grünen Spitzpaprikaringen, ein paar grüne Gurkenstücke eine halbe Tomate und 1 Olive ! Den Bauernsalat hatte ich als Hauptgericht bestellt ! Und auch voll bezahlen müssen. Ich habe dem Kellner gesagt, dass es sich dabei in meinen Augen um keinen Bauernsalat handelt, er sagte "doch, das ist ein Bauernsalat". Ich wollte zu Weihnachten nicht streiten. Was für ein Armutszeugnis für einen Griechen.
