If you're looking for the typical Italian restaurant around the corner, you've come to the right place! We have lived here for over a decade and enjoy the fine delicacies of our mother's and father's kitchen every now and then. It is run by a very nice, young man, the son, who is a wonderful natural host. the cuisine is authentic Italian tutto bene!

Beach bar run by Karsten Plass, the owner of the Pirates on Südstraße. A real recommendation when the weather is nice as it is located directly on the canal. Nice staff, good selection of drinks, reasonable prices. I can't say anything about the food this year as we were only there to drink cocktails. But in the opening year we took part in the breakfast buffet that was offered, which was great, and we also went there for a barbecue, delicious steak rolls. The beer and cocktail selection is very good. Music-wise it's not as rocky as Pirates, there was feel-good summer music playing when we were there, which matched the weather and the beach.

The pizzas are usually delivered or picked up outside the home. There are also three tables where you can eat. Food, especially the bruscetta, pretty good. No alcoholic drinks.

Really great little restaurant - fantastic food - freshly prepared and very tasty, very nice service and the price-performance ratio is simply great! Absolutely clear recommendation!

The Italian restaurant Il Nido in Voerde is truly a jewel in the Wesel district. It not only offers first-class service, but also excellent food that makes every visit a special experience. For me the best in the district. The atmosphere at Il Nido is warm and inviting, perfect for a leisurely dinner or celebration with friends and family. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes your stay even more pleasant. The menu is diverse and offers a wide selection of traditional Italian dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Particularly noteworthy are the great meat and fish dishes. My favorite dish is beef fillet in truffle sauce (a dream), with spinach leaves (great preparation) and spaghetti all'arrabbiata. The wine selection and advice is also very good. If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with excellent service and fantastic food, Il Nido in Voerde is definitely your best choice. Oh yes. Almost forgotten. The grappa is mild with a lot of taste, a real treat. The best I've ever drunk. 🍝🍷

We can only agree with the recommendations. Food was delivered quickly. We had the quesadillas con pollo with salad. Super tasty. We will order again.
