Comfortable guesthouse in Ahlhorn! We felt very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the room facing the garden was very nice. The dinner was delicious, and the rich breakfast was even served on site. The staff is very nice and helpful. We'd love to come back!

Very, very good takeaway food. Not dirt cheap but of excellent quality! Great service. We'd be happy to come back if we're hungry near Ahlhorn. Unconditionally recommended! Ambience? Nothing wrong, just boring. But since we wanted to eat and weren't looking for an inspiring atmosphere, it was totally fine.

We were here for the second time and absolutely loved it. Great food and super friendly staff. Come back next week 😃

Everything is just right here!!!! There is a good reason why I am a regular guest at this beautiful country inn with a wonderful ambience. The staff is always friendly and always has a kind word for the guests. The food, prepared by the chef himself, is an absolute culinary delight! Not to mention the delicious tarts and cakes that the boss herself makes and are very, very tasty! Thank you very much and I look forward to my next visit to the Landgasthof Engelmannsbäke!!!!

Today we ordered Carbonara Tortellini without ham and Kebab Rollo with cocktail sauce. So far everything has always been perfect (except for one time when we got a different dish - but it still tasted good.) Only today was an absolute failure. The tortellini are without any carbonara sauce, just a little gratinated with cheese and the rollo does have a sauce but it doesn't taste or look like a cocktail sauce. I have never been so disappointed by a restaurant and I paid €18.50 for it. impudence.

I'm almost 50 and actually a very chilled guy, but I've never seen someone like the one who identified himself as the owner in my life!!! You can't beat it when it comes to unfriendliness. I'm still stunned. When my order was being prepared, I was asked “everything on it” which I said no. I said “only very little tzatziki”. And as soon as I said it, I had a huge splat on my bread. I said “actually just a little bit but ok and on top of that. But whatever” I can’t stand it but I really like it. Then from the supposed operator again. “The kebab is standard and I can’t buy the entire store for €6.” I explained to him that I had an intolerance and that was the reason for it. Whereupon I was told that I was no longer welcome. His employee was very friendly and tried to calm things down a bit. However, this operator will definitely not get a cent more from me. Answer to the answer from the operator 🤭. Now you are accused of lying instead of apologizing for your wrongdoing. I mean, of course, what else could one expect after such misconduct and unqualified statements.
