Price-performance ratio completely overpriced. Chicken burger was pressed meat. The canned mangoes for almost 15 euros without any side dishes. Beef burger 17.40 euros without side dishes. The service friendly and attentive. We won't be coming back.

Ancient village restaurant with the charm of the 60s. Some of them are iconic props again, such as a buffet cabinet and a vinyl music box. The food, full of duck, good home cooking, very good value for €28. If you value ambience, leave it alone.

What a great country inn. Privately and passionately run by the owners. Everything is just right here. Very good service and well-coordinated staff. There is also excellent food. Also well maintained and clean. We'd love to come back soon.

Absolutely convincing price-performance ratio. Totally friendly service who also respond to special requests for food. We were even told the manufacturer and distributor of the great Geestland peach-rum liqueur. We'll take some of this with us to NRW. August 2021 April 2023: The service is still great and really friendly. The food is good, but the menu has changed significantly from 2021 and not for the better. That may be my personal point of view, as I am absolutely not a burger fan. Also too few fish dishes. 12/28/2024 Food and service was top.

The successors from this shop were friendly and the food was delicious. The kebab roll was amazing until Mr. Dewran came back. Ordered once and that was it. The gentleman isn't even able to do a reasonable role. A bad landing for Beers. The kebab shop in Drangstadt is simply better and there's enough meat on it.

Today we first went to the thermal baths in Bad Bederkesa. Afterwards we had something to eat at Jaspatho. You can't say anything against the food. That was fine overall. What me and my wife noticed was that it was just dirty there. The floor was neither vacuumed nor mopped. Many surfaces had not been cleaned for a long time. You could also quickly discover various spider webs. I don't think that's right for a restaurant. Cleanliness is a must.

As soon as we entered the room, we were hit by the sharp smell of toilet blocks, as the toilets are located in the entrance area. You can lose your appetite straight away. The disappointment continued when entering the main room: very primitive, absolutely tasteless plastic tablecloths on the tables (unfortunately you often read this as a point of criticism in other reviews...) and the simplest chairs. That you can't change that? It would be easy! Well, if the food is right... - I thought. I ordered an onion soup as a starter, which I love to eat. When the soup came, the first thing I thought was: where is the hidden camera!? I have never had onion soup like this! The so-called soup was completely transparent, it was clear water, unseasoned, with a few glassy onions in it. Without any taste! I let her go back. I was astonished when, at the end of our visit, the waitress admitted that she had tried the soup and agreed that it wasn't tasty. Brave! The rest of the food was OK, but not good; I regretted not having pizza. We wanted to go out for a fancy meal - the restaurant is not suitable for that.
