Die besten Restaurants in Bad Rothenfelde

Die Salate sind ein Witz. Sind eigentlich ein größerer Beilagensalat. Jedenfalls für knapp 15Euro viel zu teuer. War aber ok vom Geschmack.

We were in town today as day guests and wanted to end the day after visiting the thermal baths with a meal in their restaurant. Unfortunately it wasn't possible because only bathers are catered for during bathing time. It's a shame, because that's how a restaurant on the other side of the street made its sales. Overall bad for a health resort.

Our experiences were of the worse sort. Unfortunately there was no space on the other side of the street (NOI), but we were craving Mediterranean food. So here, “let’s test it out”. Now we understand why there was space here and not at NOI. My fillet steak with pepper sauce was, well, a block of meat with the desired doneness, but the "sauce"... oh dear. The side salad didn't deserve the name either. Unripe tomatoes, huge pieces, no dressing, just LOVELESS! The second meal: “Plaice fillet with Italian spices”. Supplement(s)? Not specified & not selectable and we also looked for the spices in vain. The ambience, the menu and the service were quite old-fashioned... It's a shame, there is much more potential. We won't be going there again unless there are obvious changes.
