Great idea! And the ice cream is delicious too.

We were 3 couples, we already knew it was good, but our friends were also really excited about the food!!! The food was served to all 6 guests at the same time by 3 service ladies. I can't remember where there is such service anymore!! For us the best restaurant in Ahrenshoop, after testing some others, we returned to the Sandpiper on Sunday!! Thank you!!

It was an excellent restaurant visit, the kind you only find in big cities. Best fusion cuisine, attentive service. Why only 3 stars? The boss himself handed over the “bill”. As is so often the case, it was an interim invoice without a sales tax statement. Most people try to disguise this as an unfortunate operational error. But I wouldn't believe the boss. It's just frustrating that more and more restaurants simply can't or don't want to operate without the usual industry evasion of sales and income taxes. It spoils the great experience, at least if your job is to prosecute tax evasion. What a shame!

Nice little shop with regional specialties and friendly staff. We were allowed to heat the porridge for our baby and feed him here. The coffee was tasty too.

“Self-service”, i.e. you order and pay at the counter; Food and drinks are à la carte and brought to the table. The service is super nice and patient. Our food (smoked fish platter) was great, the fish was fresh and apparently smoked ourselves. Great craft beers (my favorite was the slightly smoky dark beer). Nice location right on the Bodden harbor Tip: Be sure to ask about the “Fishing Spirit Ceremony”!

Extremely nice. Very pleasant, uncomplicated atmosphere. Special requests are kindly addressed. The food was absolutely excellent. The wild boar locally from the neighborhood. Everything still seems homemade. After the disappointment in the foresight, a real outlook.

A really successful evening with many small, wondrous delicacies and an excellent wine that seemed a bit cool, but quickly grew in size with a little warmth from the hand. A little more light and a little more time between courses would have been the cherry on top. Keep it up.

Unfortunately we didn't get a table, even though the place was empty except for one table. I would like to say something about the food.

After a beautiful bike ride along the dike and a varied walk through the artists' village of Ahrenshoop, this is just the right stop for a small snack such as a fresh herring roll. With a bit of luck, you can also get a comfortable seat in one of the beach chairs on the spacious outdoor terrace. The small snack tastes particularly good in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Really deliciously prepared. Price-performance ratio is definitely right. The waitress at the counter is nice and friendly. A pit stop is definitely recommended.
