Cozy and very well-kept atmosphere in the guest room, with modern and comfortable furniture. Before you enter, you first have to go through a small hallway where the toilet is. There was such a pungently unpleasant smell there that you almost wanted to back out the door. The service was friendly and attentive. What was unfortunately noticeable negatively was that the four of us had to wait a disproportionately long time for our food when the restaurant was only moderately full, and another dish was served noticeably late. In addition, my pizza, which I explicitly ordered with "very little" cheese (because I don't really like cheese), was then topped with the standard amount of cheese and additionally (which is not mentioned on the menu) with parmesan shavings. In addition, a requested extra ingredient was forgotten. The waitress simply commented on this with “Oops, the chef probably didn’t read the order correctly.” Since we had to wait so long for our food anyway, I decided not to complain. To be fair, I have to say that my companions' assessment of the taste was very positive. Conclusion: The service definitely needs improvement

We and our club visited one of the few restaurants in Dieburg that still offer down-to-earth cuisine. You can easily spend wonderful hours in this cozy atmosphere. And when I eat, I always end up with the hard salmon, which is something I've never had in any other place. It's pure enjoyment!!! The Stramme Hesse is also a creation that is second to none and can only be recommended. And the service is super attentive. One can only hope that such rare places of enjoyment will be preserved for a very long time!!!

This was the 2nd chance I gave this restaurant. Boss and waitress arrogant and unfriendly! A friend of mine wanted his fillet to be cooked a little more well, but he received condescending comments and was ultimately told that he should order something else if he didn't want it that way. The boss even came with pictures of different cooking levels of the meat and seemed very insulted and didactic. I was reprimanded for taking the pepper mill. That's not how you treat customers. My fillet steak was good, but the pepper sauce was unseasoned and carelessly served on a cold plate. The 5 mini potato wedges with 3 crumbs of rosemary do not deserve the name rosemary potatoes. Side salad is run of the mill. Fine dining definitely looks different. Price and performance are disproportionate to one another. It's a shame, but il castello doesn't get another chance!

We just wanted to eat a kebab in the evening and saw that this shop was still open late and finally came here to eat. Super friendly boss talked to us and was very personable. The kebab is great, especially the fried peppers and hot sauce is highly recommended. From today on our favorite kebab

It was my first and last time in this restaurant! There were 4 of us and we received the food at a different time; sometimes the plate was “slammed” onto the table. At every fast food restaurant, at least I've been to, the service was much more upscale! The food lacked flavor and was not very seasoned.
