Lunch is more bistro-style. The pasta with pesto was okay, but you can't have a bad day. Otherwise, it's a simple but very nice restaurant with photos on small snacks and drinks. I don't like the fact that the water is sparkling, as the price doesn't justify it. My review is based on the one-time lunch experience and does not refer to breakfast or dinner. Those can be much better. Nevertheless, the quality prompted me to write this review, as we were looking forward to lunch.

The two of us went there for the first time and weren't disappointed. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was a 12 out of 10. We had the Dieburger Hattrick and the Dibbojer Schnitzel. Large portions, but not mass-produced. Delicious sauces. My personal highlight was the Augustiner Hell on tap, which is described on the menu as the 'best beer in the world'. A word about the atmosphere: despite every table being occupied and there being an obvious Christmas party going on, we were able to have a great conversation and couldn't hear the next table or anything like that.

Another excellent meal and a lovely atmosphere. Conclusion: - Onion schnitzel with fried potatoes was TOP-NOTCH! - Excellent value for money - Service: The young lady was very attentive and exceptionally friendly - Reservations are highly recommended. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the portions were too large to finish. The price-performance ratio was right in my opinion. Attentive and very friendly young service. Vegetarians might be out of place there... The restaurant was very busy; reservations seem advisable given the limited seating. Keep up the good work!!

There were six of us eating at the Römerhalle. I had three courses. The salad was okay, but nothing special. The roast goose leg for €28 was unfortunately inedible: incredibly dry, full of fat, and the meat still wouldn't come off the bone. I had to send back five-sixths of it. As an apology, I was offered a shot of schnapps, which I declined as I had to drive. I would have expected a bit more of a gesture of goodwill, considering I couldn't eat the goose at all. My husband's roulade was also very dry. The dessert, however, was delicious.
