Immediately after the invitation, I looked at the menu and chose my dinner: The veal cheeks caught my eye straight away and I was looking forward to it from that moment on. The anticipation was not dampened; especially not because I got "MY" starter: whitefish from Lake Starnberg as a starter portion with a small salad. The whitefish fillets were fried great: the skin was crispy and the meat was not dry. The red and green “sauce” adapted perfectly to the taste of the fish. In the main course, the cookies were super tender and melted in your mouth without falling apart. The taste of the potato and celery puree also harmonized with the meat. The heirloom carrots were an interesting addition. The sweet ending with the crème brûlée was absolutely great. The caramelized sugar had just the right bite. As a former chef from star restaurants, I can only applaud - really great!!! Oh yes and the service was warm, friendly and professional. Even the young employee on her first day behaved great at the table and didn't let herself be disturbed. She should stay on the ball; It may not be easy to work in this house (high standards require a lot of effort) but anyone who goes to school here really learns something for life. We were totally thrilled by the culinary evening at the lake and will be raving about it for a long time. THANK YOU for the lovely hours.
