Die Aussicht ist wertvoller als die Qualität des Essens.

Bei insbesondere schönem Wetter, herrlich auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Essen und Trinken sind absolut i. O. und auch Preis/Wert. Parken in der Hochsaison anspruchsvoll. Selbstbedienung hinsichtlich Getränke, das Essen wird dann an den Tisch gebracht. Getränkeauswahl für ein Seerestaurant wirklich gut.

Wunderschön direkt am Wasser mit toller Aussicht über den See gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Speisenkarte ist ausreichend groß, sodass für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar... alles andere Durchschnitt.

Ebenfalls sehr schöner Biergarten in Tutzing. Top Lage direkt auf dem See.

We've been here several times, most recently for lunch with three people. The most important thing about this restaurant platform surrounded by water is the unobstructed view of the lake. Many locals and others who know each other meet here, many only in the afternoon, for coffee and cake. Some moor in their boats at the restaurant's own jetty, in true style. Ordering and payment are made at the counter, where drinks are also collected. Some of the food is served in a surprisingly simple manner, like the otherwise truly outstanding Arctic char, which was impressive both grilled and smoked. I suspect the other fish dishes are also of high quality, especially those from the lake. The side dishes and sauces/dips, however, make you wonder if a little more effort couldn't have been put into the food. For the prices quoted (e.g., grilled Arctic char 36.90), you can get much more complex dishes elsewhere on the lake, such as at Fischmeister, where real culinary craftsmanship is still evident.

If you don't know the Nordbad, you've missed your life ;-)

Unfortunately, we were told at 6:30 p.m. that it was closed, even though the website said it was open until 10 p.m. It's a shame, because we would have loved to have something to eat.

We often go to the Nordbad swimming pool down by the lake. Whether it's very warm or cooler, the atmosphere is always perfect. Very down-to-earth food and a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains.

Nice and cool location. You sit half inside and half outside. The food is okay. The crowd is a bit snobby at times, but I expected nothing less 😄. Prices are on the higher side.

Beautiful ambiance right on Lake Starnberg. Portion sizes were normal. Friendly staff, and despite large groups, the food was served quickly and at the same time.

The view and location are top-notch. The food is a disaster. The coffee is rubbish. But when you have such a great lakeside location, it probably doesn't matter anyway.

It was really good until the neighboring table received 4 portions of “grilled cheese”. The real extremely disgusting and aggressive bad smell made our table of 6 leave the place, same with the other neighboring table. No idea why an otherwise nice place puts something smelling so bad on its’ menu

Mehr Schein als Sein – Internet-Auftritt und Realität liegen weit auseinander! Das Nordbad Tutzing präsentiert sich online als schick, gepflegt und mit Liebe zum Detail – die Realität könnte kaum weiter von dieser Außendarstellung entfernt sein. Vor Ort erwartet einen eine ungepflegte, lieblos geführte Anlage. Die Liegen sind stark abgenutzt, Schirme passen vorne und hinten nicht zum Mobiliar, und der Gastronomiebereich hat ebenso nichts mit den geschönten Fotos im Internet gemein. Hier muss dringend renoviert, aussortiert und neu organisiert werden. Ein bisschen italienische Lido-Kultur statt bloßer Fassade würde dieser Location guttun. So, wie es jetzt ist, muss man sagen: mehr Schein als Sein.

If you want overpriced, small portions of food on wooden benches and tables, this is the place for you. The view is very nice, but paying €19.90 for a deep-fried pork Wiener schnitzel with fries, and then having to order your own food at the counter, is beyond overpriced in my opinion, even if it's on Lake Starnberg!

You sit by the lake, but that's all. Self-service and the hot chocolate are not recommended.

The Nordbad Tutzing on Lake Starnberg was simply fantastic! The ambiance right on the water is beautiful. The food was also incredibly delicious and of top quality! A huge compliment goes to Paul for the outstanding service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our visit perfect. The Nordbad is a definite recommendation for a wonderful experience by the lake. We'll definitely be back!

Located directly on Lake Starnberg, with a beautiful view of the lake, it has a special flair. You sit on simple wooden benches and the menu is manageable. Prices are ok. It's particularly nice when the sun is shining in the evening, so you'll probably have to reserve a table.

Our first stop around midday was an excellent choice. Ambience was sensational. We just took a short break for a half 🍻. We didn't eat anything, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked very tempting. You can also make a reservation, but I think you can always find a free seat. Conclusion: go and enjoy!

it used to be better... The schnitzel was quite greasy to the point of being boring and the pasta came with far too little parmesan. Everything had to be ordered upon request including fries and mayo. Exhausting waiter with pedagogical enthusiasm!

I spontaneously spent my birthday in Nordbad. Breakfast Weißwurst and Obatzda were very tasty. There was dessert on the house for my birthday. A very tasty chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cream. The service on site was very friendly. We were also able to spontaneously rent a boat. Swimming on site was also great with a jetty and stairs into the lake. A perfect excursion spot.

5 star deluxe. Everything was perfect here and we would love to come back!

We really enjoy being there. It's not the best food and it's partly self-service, but the ambience, the place and the coziness make it worth it in the end. Prices are local.

Our summer excursion took us to Nordbad today. Despite today being a holiday, the service staff is friendly and very organized. You can order food via self-service and then have it delivered to your table. Price-performance ratio acceptable. Today there was of course a lot going on because of the holiday and a really good atmosphere with music and action on the lake. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that the price for the loungers is increased by 100% from five to ten euros. So we paid almost €45 for two loungers and an umbrella for two adults.

It's always nice to take the boat to the west bank and stop off there.

Nice, uncomplicated and with a very nice view and atmosphere. Unfortunately prices are now extremely high. Too high for a “beer garden” with self-service. That's a bit of a shame. And the portions have shrunk at the same time. Still very nice and recommended.

In my opinion, the Nordbad is one of the most beautiful locations on Lake Starnberg. The gastro is great, I always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Nordbad Tutzing is a nice place if you want to enjoy the view and eat well. The swimming pool offers boat berths for those who dock at the restaurant as well as rentals for various types of surf equipment. The staff are friendly and contribute to a fantastic experience at the bath.

One of those special places……. Wonderful location with picturesque views of the lake & mountains, delicious food, nice service & relaxed atmosphere. These attributes have meant that this beautiful spot has existed in this occupation for 40 years.

Nice atmosphere, but we felt highly discriminated against. Probably from the boss. This is what happened: we came to the jetty in a small fishing boat, sat down in the bar and ordered drinks and food. After a short while the boss simply goes to our boat and unties it because two motorboats had just arrived and wanted to dock too. Simply going to someone else's property without asking and untying it, that would certainly not have happened with an expensive motorboat. She did this without asking the business who owned the boat. We went there and she told us very rudely that we should tie our boat to the bank. However, the water wasn't deep enough there. We then decided that we would like to cancel our meal and get our money back. The boss did this without even batting an eyelid. No apologies, no attempts to resolve the situation differently. This is where the fact struck that people who look wealthy from the outside (motorboat) are preferred. Atmosphere nice, service at the counter was ok. Behavior from the person, presumably the boss, is more than just questionable these days.

Beautiful and located directly on the lake. Self-service - service at the cash register and bar is extremely slow. Drink prices are ok for the location, food (e.g. salad with turkey breast 17.90) is very, very expensive. But as I said, it's nice to sit by the lake for a quick drink

Very nice people and good sailing ships, we had 3 hours today. Trip was a lot of fun, the skipper was very nice and entertaining, we learned a lot about the lake and the surrounding area!!! Gladly again!!!

The fact that the store is expensive is one thing, but what's not possible is that you can't even fill the drinks glasses half full. I hope that the trade inspectorate will take a look here and close the shop.

I was here in the afternoon (on May 19, 2024) for the first time in 2024. Great location, nice staff, but... ...unfortunately I was sold a "simpler" white wine (Bianco/Custoza) than Lugana. Dear Nordbad Tutzing staff, a Custoza is not a Lugana. "Unlike in the Lugana area, for example, the wines in Custoza are not made from one grape variety, but from a mix of different grape varieties, with the main part consisting of Garganega and Trebbiano, plus either Tocai, Cortese or Bianca Fernananda, Malvasia, Riesling , Pinot bianco and Chardonnay". When I asked directly whether the Lugana I ordered from the open 1.5 liter bottle of Bianco Custoza from the Zenato winery in front of me was offered as an open Lugana, it was confirmed again that this was a Lugana (that's roughly as if you Sold a guest a pilsner as a light beer that he had ordered and, when asked, expressly affirmed that the pilsner that was delivered was a light beer. That could certainly be done much better). Otherwise I really liked the location.

I don't know what to say anymore...what are these prices about? As an example, the char, which is supposedly an Arctic char 😂, has become almost 10 euros more expensive in the last two years... €37.90... so it has increased by 30%. But you sit on wooden benches with self-service, the view is great .. no question.... except one: why do you still get enough space on top days 🤔 when cycling by the lake you notice that... It was a cloudy day, but the view over the lake towards the Alps is wonderful and there are also fine (smaller) dishes to accompany the drinks.

Dank der schönen Lage haben es die Betreiber leicht.... Hohe Preise, um 15.30h an einem Samstagnachmittag nur ein aufgetauter Käsekuchen ( zu 3.90) ohne Alternative. Der Mini- Cappucchino kostet 3,90, eine Breze 1.70.... Na ja....

This Nordbad, Steg has been around since the 1990s. Back then the footbridge was smaller/simpler and not as well-known as it is today in 2023 - children, how time flies.

Früher war das Nordbad eines meiner Lieblingslokale. Heute ist alles reglementiert, keine Freundlichkeit, Inhaberin überfordert, jegliche Lässigkeit ist vorbei. Man fühlt sich unerwünscht. Schade, mein Lokal ist es nicht mehr. Tschüss 👋

Direkt am Starnberger See ein kleines Restaurant/ Cafe mit (Liegewiese kostet 5€ Eintritt für den See) Das Essen ist leider nix besonderes. Der Salat mit einem Balsamico Dressing (Blattsalat, Gurke, Tomate und Karotte) plus Ziegenkäse sehr einfach gehalten. Hausgemachte Curry Soße schmeckt wässrig, Ketchup mit Currypulver. Hat man schon besser gegessen. Heringssalat mit roter Beete war gut. Preise sind durch die Lage etwas höher. Ambiente ist sehr schön.

Einfach TOLL nur zu empfehlen 😋

Platz am See....kühler Wein mit Freunden und kleine, leckere Küche zu zivilen Preisen. Danke...ich komme gerne wieder.

Schade, dass die Preise über die Jahre gestiegen sind und die Unfreundlichkeit auch. Obwohl wir uns im Restaurant etwas zu Essen gekauft haben und auf dem Boden auf dem Bootssteg sitzen, wurden wir unseres mitgebrachten Weines angeraunzt. Ich Empfehle den Buchscharner Seewirt oder den Fischmeister auf der anderen Seite des Sees.

Ich komme seit zig Jahren hierher. Aber offensichtlich gehen die immer höheren Preise nicht nur mit schlechter werdender Essensqualität einher, sondern auch mit Unfreundlichkeit. Obwohl wir uns Essen im Restaurant gekauft haben, wird man am Boden auf dem Bootssteg sitzend vom Restaurant angeraunzt, dass man keinen eigenen Wein mitbringen darf. - Gibt andere schöne Plätze, da sind wir jetzt.
