A restaurant with a menu not only adapted to the season, but also a diverse selection of dishes with meat from our own butchery and personal service at the table that fulfills even the most unusual wishes, makes a visit to the Gasthaus Ruf an experience. Today, after a lovely boat trip on Lake Ammersee, we were looking for a good country inn. We weren't disappointed. Very nice rural atmosphere, friendly service and very good food. Many thanks to the team at Gasthaus Ruf, we would be happy to come back. 🙂....that has already come true and we went there today with the colleagues from our department. We were all very satisfied! Ein verstecktes Juwel, das auf jeder Liste der besten Restaurants in der Herrsching / Ammersee / Wörthsee / Pilsensee-Region stehen sollte. Zunächst einmal gibt es das großartige italienische Essen. Ich liebe ihre Pizzen, aber meine Freunde waren begeistert von den Kalbsmedaillons. Ich hatte auch das hervorragende Antipasti-Gericht sowie das Erdbeer-Tiramisu - und beides war ausgezeichnet. Zweitens liegt das Restaurant auf einem kleinen Hügel mit einem großen Außenbereich unter Kastanienbäumen. Ich kann mir kein vergleichbares Outdoor-Dining-Erlebnis in der Münchner Gegend vorstellen. Last but not least ist der Service authentisch freundlich mit einem familiären Flair, das ich bisher nur in Italien genossen habe. Verpassen Sie nicht dieses fantastische Restaurant.

We have been trying to get an appointment for several months because we received a voucher for Christmas. Now we don't even get a rejection anymore. We can probably throw the voucher away because a cooking class event that I had registered for was also canceled. Really sad behavior.

An absolute insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine! The Mozzarella pizza was just perfect – thin, crispy base, fresh mozzarella and a wonderfully aromatic tomato sauce. The beef lasagna was also a delight – juicy, hearty and gratinated with just the right amount of cheese. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!”

We go there to eat more often, sometimes with music outside in the summer and inside in the winter. We like the atmosphere as well as the food. The guests are very different from hikers to normal guests. Service friendly and quick, food good to very good. Prices reasonable.
